It was our first time at this Kirks ice cream. Have been to Kirks in the past but never this location. Ice Cream was good but OVERPRICED. Staff were helpful. Dinning room was dirty and tables had not been cleaned off. Wish we would have gone back to OTHER Kirks 1890 Ice Cream Parlor, on 2500 North Kings Hwy Myrtle Beach, SC29577!

Ice-cream was horrible. My daughters moose tracks had no flavor, my chocolate chip tasted fruity?! Then, the girl forgets what we all four ordered and ask,“how many where in your party?” I told her four. She then ask, «how about $ 18?» What? How about you ring it up correctly and not over charge me?! Highly overrated, do yourself a favor and go to grocery store instead.

Incredible. Only word I can think of to describe how good their ice cream is. There are so many options available too.

Pretty dang good ice cream. Real cool atmosphere for sure, the place is decorated in a bit of a throwback style. Only real complaint is that it’s a tad pricey for non-homemade ice cream. Spent over $ 11 for a shake and a small sundae. I think one scoop in a cup would run you roughly $ 3.50. Ps: my girlfriend recommends the nutty coconut.

We were pleasantly surprised at Kirk’s. The staff was very friendly and the ice cream was tasty… I would imagine this place has been there for 30+ years, especially based on the interior(which is not what I expected at all based on the outside) – but that’s not a bad thing, especially putting Kirk’s beside all of these potentially more popular tourist ice cream chains on and off the strip. We will definitely visit again on our next trip to Myrtle.

This deserves five stars. The ice cream is the best in Myrtle Beach and is not ridiculously overpriced compared to other nearby ice cream. The young staff is always very friendly and service is very fast. There is plenty of seating. This is the perfect place to get some ice cream and hang out with some friends.

Kirk’s was A-OK. Delicious ice cream. Quick and friendly service. I liked all the antique cameras and ads around this old ice cream parlor. I would happily go back there to eat again. No complaints.

AWESOME ice cream! Myrtle Beach is normally my last choice for the beach, but this places proves to me that Myrtle Beach has something to offer now. They were quick, friendly and they have plenty of arcade games for the kiddos. They even have vintage games for the adults! Very clean as well.

Best ice cream in town. Went there 3 days in a row. Try the banana pudding ice cream… it will change your life

Despite the bad service four years ago we returned because the ice cream was really good. Service was better this time but still a little to be desired. Just might not be the friendliest run place in Myrtle Beach. That being said the ice cream did not disappoint. I got the banana pudding ice cream which was so much better than I would have imagined. My wife got the praline ice cream which she really enjoyed as well. The ice cream is good for a decent price(compared to everywhere else), just don’t expect the friendliest staff.

I like the ambiance but it’s not spectacular ice cream. I wanted something a little more than what is offered at grocery store. The service is good. Price was great. We ended up getting a banana spilt because the value was better. I totally recommend this if you want to share.

Triple scoop butter pecan cone was absolutely amazing and will probably be going back every night for the rest of vacation…

This is a touristy pink shanty type building with one room for serving ice cream, another room for sitting down while you eat your ice cream and a third kids room, I didn’t investigate. I went there for an ice cream cone. I asked that he not overfill the cone and the counter guy didn’t. My ice cream cone came to five dollars and change. The ice cream was fresh, no ice crystals and so creamy delicious. I think the price is high, as I could buy a container for less than the cone. But, it was convenient and on my way.

We stopped at Kirk’s after a night of go-carting and mini golf. Being from up north, I wasn’t sure if the ice cream would be the same. I don’t know why, just did. Upon walking in, you can tell it’s definitely an older place, but I like the looks and feels of those places. I asked the young man if he had soft serve(actually it was more like sawft serve) he had to ask me to repeat it like 3 times which I thought was funny. Plus, he actually didn’t know what soft serve was. I kid you not, he had to ask the manager, He said no, so I opted for the black cherry with hot fudge. I asked for a small, but they ended up giving me a large. I don’t know if it was to make up for the room that was needed for the fudge or what, but this happened again at another place. My fiancé got the black cherry as well. It was VERY delicious. We have a similiar place up here that has the same type of ice cream but with huge chocolate chunks in it(managers take note). We all got our ice cream and sat down in the back. It kind of seemed like they had expanded the ice cream parlor at one time. The tables were dirty and a lot of them were sticky and had ice cream all over them. We tried picking the cleanest table and even that was hard. I don’t know if I would personally return since I really like my soft serve ice cream, but if everybody else wanted to, I would just for the different options they did have. The four stars because they were pricey(I think it was $ 12 for both of us) and the manager wasn’t that friendly.

This place is great. It is a bit old school on the inside but the ice cream is great. There are many flavors. I highly recommend the«I love chocolate» and strawberry.

They have very delicious Frozen Yogurt — always with a few flavors in stock, and they’r even willing to mix it with sierra mist for a non-diary shake. Also Gluten Free!
