Señor Frog’s

My friends and I came to Señor Frogs on a Friday night looking for fun and we got it. On The weekends the restaurant turns into a night club. $ 10 cover is charged but it was worth it to me. We wanted to drink, hear good music and dance and that’s exactly what we got.
The bartender was not stingy with the alcohol. We all ordered the Mother Frogger in the yard long souvenir glasses. The Mother Frogger is their version of a Patron Margarita. For $ 19 this drink had my whole crew nice. You will not need another drink, this will last you the whole night.
The DJ was off the chain. All the music you want to hear to get you to start shaking your rump, he played. The restaurant turned dance club was filled with young adults having a good time. This is a casual party atmosphere, so there is no VIP or pretentious snobs, just people having a good time. If you don’t want to have to get diva out and just want to keep it simple but have fun then this is the perfect spot.

Not worth the price. I had a cheesesteak served with a side of cold gravy for some reason. The sandwich wasn’t gross, it was decent. My wife had the coconut shrimp which she deemed «not bad, but not great». And refills in soda took forever and when they did they would bring you another but they would just pour it into your current glass… Why? I guess because they give more ice so the can save that extra once or two of actual soda. Yeah this place kind of sucked.

Nice décor and upbeat music, there I gave the place some props. Now for the review. Ordered the chips and salsa, they were good, seemed to have a roasted salsa. Like I said, I ordered, chips were not complementary. Ordered a steak burrito. Came out pretty fast, was served Christmas style (red and green). Topped with white and yellow American cheese slices. Not much flavor, the lunch ladies back in school served up more Mexican dishes. So in short if you are a tourist and want to buy a t-​shirt and drink OK, if you are looking for authentic Mexican, go to Taco Bell.

Disgusting. I’m here now and it’s bad enough I stopped eating to write this. My meal sits ¼ eaten and when they ask if I want to bag up the rest I’m going to tell them «no thanks my dog is already sick at home».

This place is lit at night. I went there when I was in myrtle beach so if you’re down there and you’re young go. The Dj’s will be playing jams left and right. Definitely a fun place. Good for drinking and dancing hip hop and pop music.

Fun place for drinks. Food is pretty average Mexican fare but you come here for the fun and atmosphere. Servers are always great as are the drinks! Come early for food and get VIP entry later in the night with receipt.

There is no cover during the weekday and a mixed variety of music. This is an excellent choice for a good dance but if you are looking for a mature and upscale crowd this is not your place.

The food was really expensive, which I usually wouldn’t mind if it was actually worth the prices. The drinks were ok, but overall it was a disappointing experience.

Definitely a great place to have a quick appetizer and a HUGE drink. The Wild Yard is definitely worth trying if you’re feeling up for it. Service was great too. I wasn’t feeling well and told our waitress, she had our check out within a couple minutes. Our cheese dip was pretty good too. Really, there are no complaints on my end and we will be back.

Really sad sad nachos, guac is pretty good. Guy was crazy picky over checking our id’s for alcohol. The place also smells funny. Not coming back.

If it weren’t for the fact that our server was great, I’d be giving this place 1 star. There was something very funky about the chicken in my chicken tacos. However, when I asked our server if he could have my other 2 tacos microwaved (the chicken was undercooked), he insisted that I be given a new plate entirely. The second batch of chicken tacos were not much better, and none of the chicken tasted good. It was extremely bland. It tasted like there was no seasoning at all on the chicken. The ample serving of sour cream and guac made one taco edible enough for me to eat it, but I left the rest on my plate untouched. The refried beans were tasty mixed with sour cream and cheese. Service was great. I was just very disappointed with the undercooked, tasteless chicken. My husband had the chicken fajitas, however, and said they were really good. For the price I paid for three little chicken tacos ($ 16) they should’ve tasted somewhat good. No such luck.

This is one of my favorite restaurants at Myrtle Beach. Service was very quick, the food was great, and my favorite part of the restaurant was the comedy act. The service is also very fun with the balloon hats. would recommend the nachos for sure. I was also their when a waitress got a pie to the face by the other workers. Food was awesome, service was awesome. Definitely recommended

Fun atmosphere, but the food is awful. Typical over priced tourist trap. The food is very obviously heated in a microwave. They have an option for a kids drink that is $ 6.50 which seems a bit absurd. Service was just okay.

The atmosphere is fun and the food was good. The staff was very new (or very bad). Of course, service us much different in the south…

I was here over Spring Break with couple friends. First of all, if you do not want to party with high schoolers, then this is not the place for you. Place was packed with kids, 30 years old pedo trying to hit on the 18 years old. Pretty grossed out seeing a middle aged person grinding on someone that is half their age.
Music is terrible. Dj might have one good song playing then decided to change over to something else. Random breakdown during the song. A radio would Dj better than this guy.
The only reason i stayed for 45 min is my $ 10 cover that i feel bad about spending.

The Philly cheese steak was pretty good. The bread was nice and soft. Also had the chimichanga. Pretty good too! Servers and waiters were super nice!

Great, if you don’t want to eat real food. We came here off season but even then, the food was horrible. I had the fish tacos which was extremely bland. My friend got the chicken tacos, again, bland and just tasted like frozen chicken. Even the chips and salsa, which werent free at a Mexican place WHO DOES THAT? where meh. Not spicy, no real flavor, go elsewhere. The margaritas are cheap though so we didn’t feel as much money was wasted there. But i fyou want food, go elsewhere.

The food was awful. The chicken tasted as if it came out of a can. The sweet tea was weak and tasted stale. The guacamole was sitting out so long that the fresh green color was gone and it had started to brown.
Our server, Maria, spent at least 20 minutes chatting socially at a table across from us after I tried to flag her down and even made eye contact and waved. Still, even after the lady bussing tables alerted our server that we were waiting for our check, she continued. I had to flag down another sever, Ricky, who did her job for her. When you have four children under the age of 10, it was incredibly annoying for myself, a food service employee. I would never treat a guest the way she treated us.

Señor Frogs is the one truly touristy place in MB that I HAVE to go to when I’m in town. I’ve been coming to this establishment since 2009 when it was brand new to the area and it’s only improved with time. Back then our favorite waiter Olban was just getting things rolling, I am so pleased to see that he’s now a head manager there and really taking it to the next level with service, food quality and entertainment… I’ve been to senior frogs in Cancun and Cozumel, and I have to say the MB is giving those time-​honored branches a run for their money. The great thing about SF is that it is family friendly for «most» of the day, but its also the premier spot for going out on the town from May to September. They are masters at entertainment and always have the best live music. We were lucky enough to have Justin as our waiter this august and he was a cut above the rest and really took time to ensure we had a great meal. This restaurant/​bar is LOUD… if you want a meal with conversation I highly suggest going to an early dinner or requesting to sit outside!

My husband and I were looking for a fun place to get a drink I’m the area and Señor Frogs looked like the place.
It was a nice hot night so we asked to sit outside (around 9pm). We were seated within 5 minutes. Inside was karaōke which was quite entertaining. Outside on the deck the music was loud and they had Blacklights which made the atmosphere really fun!
We split the chicken nacho appetizer which was perfect to share and was enough food for us! I got the grateful dead and my husband got a long Island (the medium sizes). They were a little pricey, $ 9 and change each. Tasty, but the alcohol content in the drinks was severely lacking. Our waitress also had a hard time hearing us when we ordered because of the music.
If you come later, don’t expect a quiet date night, it’s a fun place to enjoy the atmosphere and the area! After 10:30 they announced it was 21+ but we didn’t stay that long to see what happened.

The food was horrible!!! Not to mention expensive!!! I had to feed my family after. It’s incredibly loud!
The worst thing was I paid for the photo and paid to get the digital imagine. The photo was
10 the digital was 5 gave the guy a 20. Tipped him 5. Didn’t get the photo. Then called and when I called they said I had to call again and get a different code. They couldn’t transfer me!!! I don’t see how they stay in business!!! I guess charging 3 people 70 is how!

Fun atmosphere?! Yes, if you enjoy being around trashy sloshed people (who just turned 21 and excited to get their party on), enjoy slow service where bartenders have zero customer service/​personable skills. We had to ask the bartenders for menus and took forever to get drinks, there were only 2 – 3 other people at the bar.
I’ve been to Senior Frogs in Cancun & Cozumel and it’s the similar infamous party scene, but toned down in Myrtle Beach since the U.S. actually has laws.
The food is extremely over priced for quality and portion. The hot wings were decent. I would recommend that you go here only to drink. When ordering drinks, stick to the drink menu or simple mix drink of alcohol + mixer. You’ll easily confuse the bartender.
The best deal is getting THE YARD (28oz) and you get to keep the awesome cup. Refills are $ 2 off.
You really need to drink a lot if you want to enjoy the chaos of this place. Go there before they charge cover at the door (rip off). Go somewhere else to eat.

While nothing compares to the pure lawlessness of Señor Frogs in Freeport, Bahamas, I still enjoyed myself at this one.
Highlights: the bartenders, bouncers, and servers are all funny and friendly. After 10:30, it becomes a dance club with a spacious dance floor. They do all the silly stage shenanigans.
Lowlights: there’s a $ 5 cover which is silly, and the drink prices are exorbitant. And why oh why, can’t adults just NOT cake the floor in spilled beer?
Overall, I’m a fan. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do as a vacation spot bar.

Terrible. The waiter was nice. We sat in the sun. Those are the only positives.
Way overpriced. Crazy high. A burrito with no sides was $ 14. $ 11 hamburgers and quesadillas. What?
They served my vegetarian girlfriend chicken quesadillas. At least they quickly fixed it. My burrito was bland. Boiled unseasoned chicken. There were cheese slices on top. Mostly bland rice.
I think the menu was created by cafeteria ladies. Food is about the same quality.
