Strand Investigations is the premier licensed full service investigative firm located along South Carolina’s coastal Grand Strand. We offer a variety of services including investigations related to Criminal, Domestic, and Civil cases.

We tend to specialize in the areas of Criminal Defense and Civil Litigation, but also work cases involving Infidelity, Child Custody, Background Screening, Insurance Fraud, and Loss Prevention.

Other service we provide include personal locates, financial due diligence, asset searches, and GPS rental.

We also can serve legal process for your Criminal and Civil cases.

While some cases are better served locally, we extend services Statewide. Call for details.

History

Established in 2010.

After working in both the private sector corporate world and law enforcement, the owner took a position as an instructor /​adviser to the U.S. Military in Afghanistan under a contract with the Department of Defense. In this position he trained both U.S. and Afghan National Security Forces in areas of civilian policing, tactical operations, weapons, surveillance, subject interview and interrogation, crime scene exploitation, police administration, and organizational development.

Upon returning to the U.S., the owner recognized the need for an investigative resource for private individuals and attorneys and opted not to re-​enter the field of Law Enforcement. Instead, he chose to start Strand Investigations and Consulting which later became Strand Investigations and Associates, LLC to meet that need.
