Dear old Uncle Fred may be willing to help with some of those jobs, but that doesn’t mean he actually knows what he’s doing. Oh, and we won’t drink all the beer in your fridge while «working».

Our workforce are covered by Workman’s Comp, and are fully insured and bonded. Not so with Uncle Fred, and sadly also not with many other service companies either. Did you know that most window cleaners (yes, the guys who climb up ladders all day) are uninsured? Take a moment and think about what that could mean to you. The sound you hear in the background is lawyers rubbing their hands together.

Our customers feel safe and secure, as our employees arrive at the location in clearly identifiable uniforms. Why wouldn’t they? After all, we’re professionals, not handymen earning extra money when their business is slow.

We work with chemicals which are environmentally safe, biodegradable, and OSHA approved. Not only because it’s safer for you, and better for our environment, but also because we have to be around them every day. Good employees like ours are hard enough to find, train, and feed — we don’t need to have them off sick half the time.

Our crews carry material data safety sheets on each chemical, for both your, and our protection. They make fascinating reading… if you have insomnia.

History

Established in 1989.

Window Gang was founded by Tim McCullen, in 1986, as a part-​time summer job, in the small coastal community of Wrightsville Beach, NC. By 1996, Window Gang was servicing every major city in the state of North Carolina, with a level of professionalism not often seen in the window cleaning industry. Extreme growth and success in local markets led to expansion, through franchising, to other professional entrepreneurs. Today Window Gang provides exterior cleaning services in over 1600 cities across the United States! With this rapid growth in the window cleaning industry we decided to expanded into a wide range of other services for both residential and commercial customers. Window Gang is fully licensed, insured, and bonded and all of our chemicals are environmentally friendly. Before wearing our Window Gang uniform, every employee must go through an extensive criminal background check. Our uniformed crews will arrive at your home in a company truck, that is clearly marked with our logo. W
