Took a drive down to Myrtle Point today from CB and based on the reviews on here helped me decide to go check this place out. The atmosphere was awesome, friendly and relaxing. We got the Ortega burger and the mushroom burger and it was delicious! The fries were really good too! Definitely will be going back.

I work down the street during the week, and I’m in Eugene the rest of the time. If you ever need a GREAT burger in Coos County, THIS is your place!!! Love pizza? So do they! You will be HARDDD pressed to find better pizza within an hour or better drive. For a small town Bar and Grill, they definitely have the grill part DOWN! Always pleased with anything I order and the staff is wonderful! Young and old alike know, this is where you go!

Tried Spruce Street Bar & Grill while in town to visit my mom. She hasn’t lived in Myrtle Point very long, but already knew that«word on the street» is that Spruce Street is the place to go if you’re looking for good grub — the kind that keeps the locals coming back every week. We ordered bacon cheeseburgers on the recommendation of the guy who works in the hardware store. Come hungry — the portions are huge! We could only eat half the burger. The fries were good, too. They seemed to have a light coating of batter, which gave them a nice added crunch. My only complaint? I ordered a Diet Pepsi and there was something«off» about the taste… almost make me feel like I was tasting the bar-fountain hose. It was strange. Waitress was nice and probably would’ve replaced it, but I didn’t want to seem like a «high maintenance tourist.» ;-) The menu is quite varied, so more than likely, anyone can find something that sounds good to them. The place is big… there’s a TV in the front section, which is quite a distance from the bar, so you can go in with your kids and not feel like they’re in the bar, too. A middle section(closer to the bar) has a pool table. There’s also an «old school» pinball machine. It definitely had a «locals» vibe … where everyone knows everyone … and being a small town, that’s probably fairly easy to accomplish. Two burgers with fries and two sodas only set us back $ 17.50. More than fair.

Holy smokes. I sure didn’t see this one coming! My teenage daughter said it was great, but based on the many drive by glances, I was like… no. Well today we drove over from Coquille and took the plunge. I even remarked to my daughter, as we entered, that it looked a little shady. I couldn’t have been more wrong. This goes to show that you really shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover like the saying says. With that said, if you want peace, quiet and ambiance, keep looking. This is not your place. However, this place is incredibly family friendly and has a nice kids menu and there is something on the menu for everyone. It’s typical fare, burgers, sammies, pizza. But better than good. This beats Yeongs burgers in North Bend and The Broiler in Coquille, hands now. And their pizza(I got the Greek pizza) was pretty much to die for. Far better than Abby’s Greek in Coos Bay even. I am still kind of surprised I enjoyed this place so much. I can’t believe I was so hesitant to try it. I ordered ice tea and it came in a huge glass mug. Our waitress, Erica was incredibly nice, attentive and even shared the secret of their fry sauce(also to die for! BBQ sauce and mayo in case you are wondering ;) . And I looked and tried to find dirt and grime and considering the age of the building, etc. It was very clean. Wait time took a little longer than I would have liked, but I felt like the food was all very hot, just cooked, etc. So I can handle a little wait for good food. what can I say? Suck up the lack of fancy smancy ambiance, and just do it. really good stuff!

We were pleasantly surprised with this little gem! The BLT salad wasn’t anything fancy but it was delicious. We also ordered the spicy burger which was good too. The onion rings were subpar. My kids had pizza and it was great! Everything was perfect about it. The waitress was also the bartender and the busses. She was busy, did her job but was not friendly.

Very small town vibe minus the crazy eyes towards out of towners ;) Food is great, hard to keep a clean shirt with the generous amounts ingredients, but worth the change of a shirt. Prices are very reasonable for portions, taste, and being a non-chain grill. Keep it up Devin ;) Another thing I really enjoyed about this place is their bar, fair prices, and that they have a few local beers on rotation at a time. All of which were tastey, especially the porter they had at the time. I will definitely be wondering in here for some eats and«stumbling» out after a few pints the next time I am in Myrtle Point to visit familiy.

What a find. Traveling to the coast & took a chance. Darn good sandwich & cold beer. I’ll be back for sure.

Super down home basic smalltown bar. Lots of locals in there playing video poker. Fantastic jalapeño burger! Service is basic and friendly enough. They played a Timbers game for me even though I think most of the crowd there didn’t even know there’s a major league soccer team in OR.

Enjoyed another great meal with the family. I had my favorite fresh shrimp salad. My family had Wagon Wheel Pizza, Fish & Chips, Clam Strips & Cheese Burger. Food was excellent & customer was impeccable. We will be back. Thanks again
