History

Established in 2014.

Our story begins with a young boy standing in the kitchen beside his Grandmother, eager to learn the secret recipes of his Italian heritage. This love for family, and for food, grew to include a passion for wine and for pairings. Stephen Clemente, opened Frizzante in January of 2014 to culminate his vision of a European style Winebar. His first employee was a woman named Robyn. Robyn was mentored by Stephen and eventually purchased the business to share and run with her son. Today, Robyn and her son Kyle carry on the vision of Frizzante and the lineage of two connected families, bringing forth tradition and passion with fantastic food and wine.

Meet the Business Owner

Kyle P.

Business Owner

I’m just a local kid. A guy who came from a middle class family in Pawcatuck, CT. I don’t have any fancy pedigree, or accolades. I work hard at everything I do with passion and detail. I caught a break and got the opportunity to invest in an awesome concept in Downtown Mystic. I am humbled and eager at this opportunity. My Vision is to provide a genuine service approach and a personalized experience to each one of my guests. I want you to feel excited and proud to have discovered Frizzante, and to bring your family, and your friends knowing you all will be well taken care of.
