Best barbershop in the area. I go weekly for a beard trim and a shoulder massage for 10 bucks. They are always friendly and accommodating. Service is slow, but it’s that kind of place. You don’t mind it and you plan for it when you come. You can’t help but relax here. Check out their Facebook for schedule changes, as only 2 people run the shop and they can sometimes have random hours.

I searched and searched and finally found the spot. Edie and Tonya are awesome and make you feel like you’re at home. I’ve been going here for a couple years and love it. The straight razor during a regular cut is a nice throw back to how it should be done. They know me and make me feel like family.

I absolutely love this place. Edie has been cutting my hair for awhile now. I would rather have my hair grow out too long and wild than have anyone else work on my hair. They don’t take appointments but you can call in advance and they will tell you what the wait will be.

I’m new to Charleston and I’ve spent basically two months searching for a decent place to get my hair cut. I have to say, I found a GREAT place. This barber shop is very quaint and the two women that work here are great. They take attention to detail here and you’ll be very happy. The straight razor, massage and hospitality is off the charts. The level of service rivals the top salons/barber shops I’ve been to previously. I’ll be a regular here in Charleston.

This is by far the best barber in charleston. The girls are friendly respectful and know how to cut hair. It took me 2 years to find someone down here that will use a straight razor. There is just no other feeling like cold steel cutting hair ;) i will def be a long time if not customer forever. Also the neck massage also helps!

This place is fantastic, the haircut usually takes about 30 minutes, but they use straight razors and also incorporate a little massage into the process. Nice people, good conversation. My only word of advice to future patrons would be to call ahead, if there is a line and you are in a rush don’t bother going. They give each customer the same tender care and will not rush for you.

Excellent barber shop. You can always expect a good cut which holds true from the time you leave the chair until you return. Don’t waste your time or money going anywhere else. The price is far less than one would expect for such a good cut.

I REALLY wanted to like this barber shop. But, after a couple of attempts, I can only see this place being good for retirees or folks looking to kill a couple of hours hanging out at a barber shop. I can’t speak for the quality of haircut given here, seeing as the couple of times I’ve gone(trying to support a local business), I end up waiting for nearly an hour, finally get fed up, and leave. Ain’t nobody got time for that. I’ll continue going to William’s barber shop on Red Bank.

Great Haricut Great service Real Barber shop(Place has been a barber shop for over 100 years) There’s even a pool table in back. $ 15 for the cut Plan to wait. No appointments, just sitin the chair and listen to the converation. Also, if it’s a week with a national Holiday(Labor Day, Memorial Day, etc) They are likely closed all week. Closed Wednesday.
