I never write reviews. Ever (well, sometimes I write negative reviews). I just had my maternity boudoir session with Felix and Sara and I had SO MUCH FUN. I was surprised how comfortable I felt in the end, because they kept the tone light and fun. I felt so good in my own skin and have been riding this high all day long. I went in feeling all pregnant and large and puffy and came out feeling like a rock star. I can’t say enough good things about working with Felix and Sara. I can’t wait to see the pictures now!!!

I went from nervous and awkwardly uncomfortable to super comfortable in a few minutes. Professional, fun and a beautiful ambiance. Thumbs up for Felix and Sara!

I had been looking to do boudoir shoot for a while and Felix and Sara were the only ones in my area who had consistently amazing reviews. It is one of the single greatest things I’ve ever done in my life and I am so glad I did it with Felix and Sara. They were hilarious and warm and amazing at their job. I did the shoot within an hour and got great reviews. Turnaround was that night. I showed the pictures to a bunch of my friends and significant other and they were all blown away. It was classy and sexy and just awesome. It was a super empowering and amazing experience and I am so glad I did it.

I had been thinking about doing a boudoir photo shoot for a while but really didn’t have any recommendations until I came across Felix & Sara on living social. I can’t say how much I LOVED my boudoir session with them! I had researched them as well as some other places closer to me in Boston. After seeing their site, portfolio and the amazing reviews they had, it was a no brainer and I booked my session.
It was a little nerve wracking but after meeting them I instantly felt comfortable and that we were in a relaxed and such a professional setting! I came prepared with 4 – 5 outfits and accessories which we all looked over and had plenty of time shooting. With each shot set up they helped me with positioning so that I really looked my best.
They were available just a few days later to do the viewing session. Felix & Sara prepared about 20 of the best photos and really blew me away! From the lighting to positioning they really helped me look and feel my best.
I would not choose anyone else to go to and would love to do another boudoir session with them! Thank you Felix & Sara!!!

I JUST finished my boudoir sessions with Felix and Sara and honestly I don’t think that could have been anymore comfortable, relaxing, empowering, and amazing.
From the moment I walked into their studio in Chelmsford, I felt safe which honestly for me was the more important part of the whole thing. There was no moment where I felt awkward or in the words of TLC «unpretty». They truly know how to pose you to not only make you feel sexy but also strong.
Now onto the viewing, this was a birthday present for my boyfriend and I surprised him with the whole thing but honestly I think I was more surprised with the pictures than he was. After every beautiful shot I kept exclaiming «I really cant believe that’s me!» I had never seen myself in such a sexy light and I LOVE it! It was crazy hard for my boyfriend to pick out the 8×10!
I honestly cannot imagine doing this with any other photographers!

I have recently lost some weight and wanted to do a photoshoot to empower it. I came across a groupon for Felix and Sara Bourdoir shoot. I must say I was really nervous about the shoot, but Felix and Sara make the whole thing so super easy and comfortable and their positive energy totally calmed my nerves. And the pictures came out amazing! It was the best experience ever.

Every women should do this at least once. I felt beautiful, empowered, and confident. I can’t say enough about Felix and Sara, they are two of the coolest people ever. I can’t wait to do this again!

Just did a bridal boudoir with Felix and Sara this past weekend. I did a bunch of research and read reviews online and this seemed like the place to go. I arrived with four outfits I had in mind and they quickly came up with flattering and beautiful poses. They made me feel very comfortable from the get go. I felt sexy and beautiful, and best of all had fun — the hour flew by! I met with them the next night at their home office to view the photos with my best friend. I purchased an album to give to my fiancé for our wedding in mid November and can’t wait for it to arrive. They don’t touch up the photos at all, just use a soft filter, which makes you look like your natural beautiful self. Would recommend this to anyone considering a bridal boudoir or just wanting to take sexy pics — it’s the best!

Found Felix and Sara through a Living Social deal when I was looking for an engagement present for my then-​fiancé. Didn’t get a chance to come in until after we were married, but the photos made the BEST birthday present for my husband (his words!). I was really nervous about the shoot, but as other reviewers have said, Felix and Sara make the whole thing so easy and totally calmed my nerves. There’s never a moment where you feel uncomfortable. And the pictures came out amazing!

What a fun fun fun experience!!! I did not know exactly what to expect or how I would feel but they make you feel very comfortable in front of the camera. The photos came out fabulous as well, I couldn’t believe it was me! If you’re hesitant about doing it, just jump right in. You won’t regret it with Felix and Sara.

I won a free boudoir photo session from a wedding expo from Felix and Sara. This being something I had always wanted to do, I was so thrilled to win and immediately signed up. Then I began to panic, realizing that I had signed up for a boudoir photo shoot.
I was a nervous wreck the whole day leading up to the shoot, but those nerves quickly vanished after about 5 minutes in their absolutely gorgeous studio. The hardest part was walking out from the dressing room. Felix and Sara do everything in their power to make you feel absolutely amazing, confident and sexy. I was having so much fun by the end of the shoot, I was sad to get back into my street clothes.
They get the photos ready for you pretty quickly after taking them. Two days later, I met with them for a viewing session, where they put up a selection of your pictures on a screen. I was blown away by the quality of the images. Every single picture was absolutely gorgeous, and I really wish I could have purchased all of them.
If you have even the slightest desire to try a boudoir photo shoot, I wholeheartedly recommend Felix and Sara. They do an amazing job – you will absolutely feel like a model after seeing your pictures. I would do another shoot with them in a heartbeat.

At the viewing session, and prior to even seeing the finished photos, I was overwhelmed with emotion and said to Felix that I had been so impressed with the process thus far, and how their website was one of the best that I had ever seen. For sure, Felix and Sara are a rare combination of utmost professionalism, talent, and non-​threatening coolness, if that is a term. ;)

This is something I’ve always wanted to do and I’m so glad I waited and went to Felix and Sara. They are so nice, they make an amazing team and they made me feel so comfortable. I had an absolute blast and can’t wait to see the photos. I highly recommend this for every woman… every woman should do this for herself.

Felix and Sara are THE BEST! I met them at the Lovesick Wedding Expo, I entered a drawing for a complimentary boudoir session and I was thrilled and terrified when I got an email saying I’d won! All my fears were put to rest once I showed up at their studio in Chelmsford. I am not exaggerating, this space is the epitome of cool, and so are Felix and Sara! They know you’re going to be freaking out when you arrive, and immediately and expertly go to work putting you at ease. They worked flawlessly as a team to make me look my absolute best while boosting my confidence and paying attention to every detail. A week later, they invited me and my boyfriend to a viewing session in Cambridge– I was more nervous about this than I was about the shoot, to be honest, but there was no need! Felix’s talent as a photographer is unmatched, and he made me look beautiful. They created a slideshow that highlighted the best of the bunch, and we ordered several prints. It felt like spending a fun evening with my good friends, not a high pressure sales situation. Needless to say, my boyfriend is even happier than I am– we are going to have these photos forever! I am not a supermodel, I am a 38 year old plus sized woman. The photos they took were of me, not a photoshopped version, and they made me look like myself at my absolute best. It was a superlative experience on so many levels, and I would recommend it to anyone. It’ll save you lots of money on therapy for your self esteem! Thanks Felix and Sara, YOU ROCK!

When I was first approached with doing this photo shoot as a present for my husband’s birthday I was hesitant. First, I am truly self conscious about my body. Second, I am completely camera shy. Third, I just don’t do the whole sexy thing very well. But given that we have been together for 8 years and married for a few with a two year old in tow I thought we really did need a new spark in our love life. We set the date and I spent countless hours at the lingerie shops and the gym trying to work out my problem areas which according to me is everywhere. I worried and fretted about being in front of the dreaded camera, in front of complete strangers practically nude and trying to be…* gulp* sensual… argh. I wanted more than once to cancel and just say no to the whole thing but with reassuring emails from the photographers Félix and Sara and support from my husband I went through with it. I cannot believe how happy I am to have done it. This whole photo shoot started out as something to make my husband happy, but in the end I believe I was the one that reaped the most reward.
We were sent a confirmation email and directions to the location. Once we arrived and saw the studio I was in love. It was immaculate and holds a very artsy old feel while it looked like someone truly paid attention to each detail of the décor (I suspect it was Sara ;)). I was of course nervous and could barely get a hello out. We laid out my lingerie so that Félix and Sara could see my loot. Then the first costume change commenced. I was scared… and by scared I mean OMG am I going to throw up before the first picture gets snapped? Scared. Sara helped me out ALOT by just being her. She did not make a huge deal of me being practically nude and just smiled and helped me along while offering her husband suggestions and directions on my next pose and helped me fix my exposed tags and stray hairs. Félix all smiles snapped away and gave me again more reassuring tid bits with every click of the camera. Poses went from being next to carefully hung window panels which were purposely worn to being on a metal post bed with many costume changes in between. While it all happened I slowly but surely felt more and more confident… even pretty! I quickly forgot that I was practically naked with giant heels while my husband looked on. In all honesty my husband made me more nervous than anything else. He eyed me like a shark, and looked at me like he has not looked at me in a very long time. Completely lustful and completely in awe. Once the photo shoot was done (about 1 hour) we made the appointment to view my photographs. It was much sooner than I expected. We did the photo shoot on Friday and we were able to see the pictures by Wednesday.
The viewing was in Cambridge and we were met by Félix who walked us to a secret underground garage and led to the viewing room. The setup was very cozy and comfortable. Félix took the time to go through each frame with my extremely indecisive husband. I have never seen myself blown up like that… projected on a wall and just… well pretty and exposed in the best ways. Me being me can be extremely critical of myself… but thankfully I was in amazing hands of a couple of very talented people who truly highlighted my best parts. My husband in the end chose to get all the pictures in digital form so he could see them a million times over if he wanted to. He absolutely loved them. They even had an option of a very cool viewfinder (a must see). Now I was starting to wish that I could show everyone these pretty pictures!
I am truly thankful and happy to have found Félix and Sara. They were completely professional, talented, funny, and gracious in every step of the way. I could not have asked for more. They have restored my confidence in myself and my body, also *wink wink* a mega boost in our love life. My husband on our ride home joked (or I hoped joked) about sending my photos in to agencies to be discovered… I had to remind him that I am over 30 and even at my size would be considered overweight… but still… my husband and I left this experience beaming. We completely gained more than we ever thought we would. I am actually thinking about booking the next one ;)

Felix and Sara are so absolutely wonderful and nice. They are the sweetest and make you feel so wonderful about yourself. It is hard for me to feel comfortable in my own skin and lock my inner beauty. They really captured another side of me I never get to see, and it was so beautiful. These are photos I can have forever and cherish.

Let’s be honest, getting mostly naked in front of anyone can be awkward feeling; getting mostly naked in front of two total strangers is certainly nerve-​wracking! But Felix and Sara were so cool and friendly that I was quickly put at ease. The whole shoot Sara is there to make sure you are posing at angles that make you look good and Felix just keeps saying how great you look :) Always good to hear when you’re standing there in your underwear!
I ordered three prints today, but they showed me 20 total images where I looked better than I ever thought I could. I felt like a supermodel! But at the same time it was still me in those photos, not some mannequin version of me.
If you want to treat yourself to something special than by all means do a boudoir shoot with Felix and Sara. You’ll walk out of there with a very extra pep in your step.
If and when I get married I will certainly be giving them a ring…

I first noticed Felix Rust’s photo at Wet Paint Nail Spa (of all places) because there was a fabulous photo of dirty toes (hard to capture in words. but trust me it was so great!) I was instantly interested in finding out more about his photography because he really captured so much more than just what you saw in the photo. Since then, I’ve been following his photos on facebook which made me certain that one day I would have to have photos done with him.
FInally, this fall we were able to have our family photos done. Felix captured exactly what we wanted and got some great photos of the four of us. We will definitely be back for more photos. He’s great with kids (and Sara, his «partner in crime» is too) has an amazing eye and is a true artists.
Since photos and are are so subjective I always recommend Felix or another local photographer who is the polar opposite in style to anyone looking for photos. Between the two of them everyone seems satisfied with the options.

My husband and I were looking for something a little different when it came to our wedding photography. We didn’t want portrait-​style posed pictures. Felix has a more photojournalistic style. He captures moments. He makes you look amazing. Most of all, he captures YOU. I’ve had lots of people tell me that they get a feel of who we are from looking at our wedding pictures.
Felix’s prices might be on the high end, but there is serious value there. For us, his price included an engagement session (he’ll meet you where ever and shoot til you’ve gotten what you wanted), a beautiful book of your engagement pics (he’s also a graphic designer), all day the day of your wedding, a 60 page wedding album, a 16×20 shot and a disc with ALL the digital prints (color). Plus, you get to hang out with Felix and his lovely wife Sara! When your wedding album is done, they have you to their studio for a viewing party. This is a crazy amount of value for what you’re paying. Also, I feel like he’s very up front about how much everything costs– he wants you to be able to budget realistically and not have any surprises. We definitely splurged on this aspect of our wedding and we were not sorry we did so.
Felix and Sara are really wonderful. They put you at ease while they’re shooting and their work is the best around. My husband and I are so incredibly happy to have their work to help us remember our wedding day. Everyone I’ve shown the books to has been floored by how beautiful they are. I would recommend Felix to anyone for any reason. Love him and his work.
