Town Fair Tire

Shopped around the area and visited 4 tire stores. The selection, the extras, and the salesperson Mike in North Dartmouth made the sale happen. It really was the personalized service explaining every detail about the service as well as very technical details of my tires. I was very impressed. Mike was really helpful at getting be a good price which was better than the other 3 shops I visited and the customer service was fantastic, installed that day!

Super nice employees! I went in for a free tire repair and was treated just as well as any paying customer. Next time I will call ahead or have someone pick me up, as there was a wait. That being said they gave a very conservative time estimate: I was told 3 hours, but was in and out within 1 ½.

The entire staff is very thorough and competent. I’m glad I got new tires at this location. The man at the counter explained everything to me, was respectful, and clear on what came with the tires. When I got my tires re-​torqued they also checked the alignment at my request. The car feels great and there are no issues.
I’d like to point out that customer service was wonderful… some of these places can be daunting. (Especially being a woman they think they can take advantage of you because you don’t «get cars»).
It’s not like that here– I was treated with respect and talked to as an equal.
Would recommend this location. Not sure of the others but this location was worth it!

I have been to many different Town Fair’s many different times, including the one in Dartmouth three times. Overall, they have been pretty good. The prices are a little less than most places, the services isn’t bad, they do good work. A few things to watch out for, and if you are okay with these things and keep an eye out, you’ll be good. First, they are terrible about calling back when they say they will. I ordered a set of tires and they never called when they were in, and I brought my fiancé’s car in for a free flat repair and they never called when it was done. A friend told me they always do the same thing to him as well. Secondly, when they say they will match prices, you need to be VERY specific about the prices. I went in with a print out of tire prices from
, plus shipping, mounting and balancing. Then somehow after they «matched» the price it would have cost me $ 100 more (before tax) then if I ordered them online, paid shipping, and brought them somewhere for mounting/​balancing. I had to sit there and go over the prices with him step by step in order to get that price, and after that he still charged me $ 12 for valve stems even though I printed out a price from a place a few miles away that did not charge for them. At that point, I didn’t feel like arguing anymore and said okay, close enough. But, as long as you don’t mind not getting a call and having to be careful about price matching, then it’ll be a good experience.

I came here a month or so ago on the monday of a holiday weekend. I arrived early, or so I thought, about 10am. The place was absolutely packed. After waiting for 20 minutes or so, the 3 – 4 guys on staff behind the counter finally helped me. I understood that it was my fault I came on such a popular day. I needed 4 brand new tires for my Hyundai Sonata. Roughly $ 500 later, I was signing my name away to 4 tires, rotation and free mounting. Despite the long lines, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We hadn’t brought a 2^nd car to go home in, so they even offered to hold my place in line while I drove home, got a 2^nd car, and then came back with the one that needed new tires. We just decided to call a friend and get a ride.
They were very friendly and called me twice in the afternoon to update me on the status of the work on my car. Due to the long line it usually would of taken less than 2 hours, but I didn’t see my car again until 3:00 that afternoon. I would definitely go back here, prices were right and the staff was very helpful.
