Empty Hand Combat is unlike any other gym in the valley. Unmatched in both skill and instruction, students at EHC get to experience true Asian martial arts. Chief Instructor, Cosmo Zimik is a world renowned martial artist with 40 years of Kung Fu training. Master Zimik is an edge weapons expert with special attention given to the double swords a beautiful Burmese art. However, at the heart of this treasure valley school you will find much more than martial arts. This Christ centered dojo focuses on giving. It supports a non-​profit organization that mentors the «at-​risk» youth of this valley. It also supports an school and orphanage in India. Come join a team/​family of martial artists serving together in this community to bring about a greater good for everyone.

Born into a tribal war with India, trained as a black belt and street fighter from the age of nine, tortured and left for dead at the age of seventeen, Cosmo Zimik has an intimate, working knowledge of violence. During his long weeks of recovery, nursed to health by a total stranger deep in the jungle, the seed of the Empty Hand Revolution germinated in Cosmo’s mind. Four years of underground fight clubs, multiple contracts on his life and another near death experience forced Cosmo’s Empty Hand Combat into full fruition.
