Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Streakburgers

Tried this place for the 1^st time today. Ordered California steak burger combo. And a concrete shake.
Burger was very good. Close to IN N Out. Crusty edges, tasty as fork!
Fries are real thin cut. Not bad
.but I could taste the «old oil» used to cook them in. So a star pulled for this.
Customer service was real good too.
Concrete shake. was excellent. I had a root beer type made, mixed and it was the shit.

This place is very good! I had the double cheese combo. I like the way they smash the burgers to get a nice crust and the shoe string fries are simply great !

Won’t be going back. The burger was as flat as a piece of paper. The fries are very slim. I call them mini fries and were very greasy.

I can’t believe people are hating on Freddie’s! Just moved from California and I actually liked it more than In and Out.

Have been to Freddy’s multiple times. Quite frankly, we won’t order the steakburgers… not that good… fries are OK.
It has become a desert place for us. love the deserts, but the help is generally young and they make mistakes, have to watch how and what you order. Some of the kids heads are elsewhere when they should be focusing on customer service and getting the order correct.

We just moved to Idaho from a region where Freddy’s is very popular. We missed it and then BAM! One is being built here. So exciting! Their burgers are super thin, but that’s perfect for me. I like the crispy edges on the patties. My husband always gets a double so he gets more meat. The custard treats are yummy, but get a mini unless you’ve got a bottomless pit for a stomach. A meal plus a mini dessert and you’re set! Yum! Yum! Yum!

Loving the place look, good music nice place to be with family, food is AWESOME, love the hours, employees well clean and nice, my kids actually like the ice cream, keep up the awesomeness!

Very friendly service. I first came here 12 minutes after they closed and they «unclosed» for me.
I haven’t tried their steak burgers, but their ice cream (called custard) is above average, inexpensive, and extremely smooth.

The custard is SO DELISH!!! But I am not a huge fan of their fries unfortunately. But I will go back for the frozen custard any day!

The hamburger meat was waaaaayyyyy too salty.

Didn’t try the custard, going to next time I go here. the burgers are good and prices are good too. I got the double burger california style with fries and a drink came out to 7 and some change .

Pretty good burgers and frozen custards. I would definitely recommend it. I know it was only a 3 star but it’s good standard burger place. The hamburgers are fried on the flat grill, the bun was ok nothing special, the trimmings was the standard stuff. The fries were the super skinny shoe string fries, I like my fries with a bit more girth. The custard is just a soft serve ice cream, it’s pretty good stuff. There are all sorts of toppings and sauces you can have put on the custards.

Excellent chocolate concretes! My new favorite guilty pleasure. If you like DQ blizzards, try these guys’ concretes.

This is my new favorite place to get a burger! I have been here several times now that they have opened. The workers are always really friendly and they make everything when you order it so it is always hot. I always get the double California burger combo even though I never order double burgers typically but the patties are done thin style so a double works here. The fries are really thin but always tasty. Also they are not sauce Nazi’s here so they always give you plenty of fry sauce or whatever sauce you want. The Original turtle concrete is freaking delicious by the way and I normally am not into ice cream but OH MY GOODNESS…

I decided to try Freddy’s Frozen Custard since they’re new and I always wanted to try frozen custard. I will say as far as there dessert goes I was pleasantly surprised on how incredible frozen custard is. Creamy and delicious and well worth the price. Now there patty melt was another story. Two thin patties, cheese and grilled onions on rye bread. I really wanted to like there burgers but after my first visit I was not impressed. The burger was dry and not seasoned well. There was no sauce on my burger whatsoever. I don’t know if that’s a normal thing or if they just forgot but I was disappointed since I spent over five dollars on a burger that I was hoping to be great. I will give them another shot to redeem themselves as far as there burgers go but for the most part I’m more likely to stop in for a frozen custard then anything else. I’m giving them a 2 star only because of the burger, if it was custard alone I would give them a 4 star

We went on a Saturday afternoon and the place was packed! We waited for over 30 minutes for our «to go» order before bringing it to the managers attention. Our order was «lost.» We received tickets for free ice cream at our next visit.

Step back into the 50s! I love the 50s era motif, and hearing the music upon entry, it reminded me of an old hamburger joint back home (though this is a much more modern style). This is by no means the place to come if you are watching your calories, BUT, if you want to splurge a bit and enjoy life, stop in for a juicy burger. Many varieties to choose from.
I wasn’t sure of what the ‘custard’ thing was all about. I honestly was envisioning some lumpy sort of dessert, but wow, the thick and rich creamy delight I was presented with was amazing. I had the chocolate version and was glad I got the small!
The fries are the skinny type size, and a good portion are served with your burger. I like that they didn’t give us so many like others do that just end up wasted. The burgers are just about the right thickness for me, and I did have a double burger, so it made my meal just right.
We were here around 3PM on a Saturday, and I was amazed at how packed this place was. We were able to get a seat after ordering, so was happy about that.
Plenty of milk shake and dessert options to have as well!

So I decided to stop by Freddy’s to see what they were all about. Pulled up to the drive thru and couldn’t believe my eyes. Two containers of Comet and two toilet scrubbers sitting on the food prep and employees standing near it having a conversation. First impression — you blew it Freddy’s.

We ate here after a movie. I am very impressed with the fries and milkshakes. We were not keen on the very salty hamburgers and Philly Cheesesteak. The dining area was clean and well maintained.
The hamburgers were very well done. Almost overcooked. Anyways, I do not think we will be eating here again. I would order a milkshake from here anytime. Not lunch or dinner.
