Established in 1937.

Lewis Thorne started the business in downtown Nampa in 1937 as Gem State Printing Co. He later moved the business into the garage behind his home where it remained until 1972. We moved to our current location in 1972 to 623 12^th Ave. Rd. in Nampa.

I am third generation owner of the business that was started by Lewis Thorne in 1937. We started downtown Nampa as Gem State Printing Co. Lewis later moved the business to the garage behind his home at 119 Ivy St. Martin and Jerry Thorne bought the business from their father and moved the business to it’s current location at 623 12^th Ave. Rd. in 1972.

I had a strong desire to follow my father’s (Martin) footsteps and learn the printing industry. I began running presses when I was 15, I definitely have ink in my blood. We enjoy having the latest in technology with a desire to provide the best quality product available.
