Great place to buy little things like napkins and other household goods, but it would be nice if the employees actually showed some customer service in a good way, but it is what it is.

Worst Dollar Tree. It smells and they hardly have any of the amazing dollar tree finds.

My friend got locked in the store bathroom for about 25 mins on 4÷19÷14 at 52 Rockland Plaza (store 3699 — Nanuet, NY). The asst. manager Joanna G was horrible in handling the problem. She was nasty as if it was my friends fault and only agreed to break the bathroom door after my friend starting crying and I told her I was calling the «fire department» and it was a health hazard by friend was locked behind a bathroom door for nearly 27 mins. I asked the store manager where is her empathy and how would she feel if this situation happened to her mother? She said, it wouldn’t. What a nasty response!
Joanna lacked professionalism and said she does not need to apologize for the incident. She yelled at us and said, accidents do happen and it is not the store fault and rolled her eyes at us and other customers came up to us giving us their support for the way she treated her owe customers.
I told Joanna she needs better leadership skills to learn how to deal with customers and she yelled she is fine. I will report this situation to the store manager Matt and follow up with a lawyer, since my friend had to seek medical attention for heart problems and stress following the distress of getting locked in bathroom and getting yelled at and embarrassed by the asst. manage Joann who mistreats customers and lack problem solving skills/​decision making skills, and have poor communication skills. Joanna G. needs to be fired and is a liability to your Dollar Tree Stores company.
