Dr. Nancy Schiffman received her B.A. in Economics from Emory College in 1983. She continued her pre-​optometry science classes at the University of Pennsylvania and received her Doctor of Optometry at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Schiffman continued her optometric training through internships at John F. Kennedy Hospital specializing in hospital based optometry and ophthalmologic co-​management of glaucoma, ocular disease, inflammation, trauma, retinopathy, laser surgery, and cataracts.

Dr. Schiffman has cared for patients in New York since 1989. As an independent doctor of optometry, she currently sees patients at her office in Rockland County. Dr. Schiffman has extensive experience in family eye care, including dry eye management, computer vision problem solving, childrens eye examinations, adult eye care, eye surgery co-​management, and contact lens fittings (including multifocal, astimatism lenses, and gas permeable lenses).
