We specialize in unique string quartet and trio music for wine country weddings. We offer a broad range of styles from Renaissance to Contemporary Pop, and offer custom arrangements on request.

History

Established in 2006.

Individually we have been performing for weddings for over 20 years. We came together as the Eloquence String Quartet in 2006 and have been enjoying every minute of it. We love to add new songs to our repertoire and enjoy polishing our performances as one cohesive group. Over the past 4 years we have become popular with wedding planners and couples for our professionalism and extensive repertoire.

Manager

I have enjoyed living in the beautiful Napa Valley since 1986. I am assistant concertmaster of the Napa Valley Symphony and Principal Second violin with the Marin Symphony. I have also performed as a soloist with the Napa College Orchestra and Marin Symphony Orchestra. I love playing chamber music and have participated in many concerts. Over the past 25 years I have enjoyed performing for hundreds of weddings in the beautiful Napa and Sonoma Valleys.

It was a pleasure to have Peggy and the Eloquence String Quartet play in our wedding. We had a traditional catholic wedding ceremony at church and Peggy and her wonderful team sounded so amazing especially with the church’s acoustic. They also have such a wide selection of songs that can accommodate what you are looking for. I chose a pretty current song for my wedding song and I was thrilled when Peggy had mentioned that they’ve added my song to their list! We also chose a song that was not in their list, however Peggy was so nice to have us provide them with the music sheets in advance and they were able to play it! They are definitely amazing and I would definitely recommend them!

Peggy and her team did such a phenomenal job at our wedding and we are so grateful we found them to play for us at our destination wedding in Rutherford, CA. They helped us create the classic and beautiful ambiance we hoped to achieve at our wedding ceremony and during our cocktail hour. They are so talented and professional, and they truly helped create a beautiful memory for us and our guests, who all told us how much they appreciated their beautiful music.
Peggy was also instrumental in working with my mom to pull off a surprise for me as I had only booked them as a duo originally only to find out my mom worked with Peggy behind the scenes to provide us with a string quartet. I am so glad my mom upgraded us to the quartet because they were able to play many more of our favorite songs and the rich, beautiful sound they all created together overwhelmed me. It was a truly special moment on my wedding day and I can’t thank Peggy and her team enough for helping us have the wedding of our dreams.

Eloquence String Quartet played our wedding in June 2014 at Calistoga Ranch.
They were amazing! We had them play as guests arrived, during the ceremony and during dinner outside. They played a great mix of modern and classic songs, and even learned «Hail to the Victors» for us. They were so easy to work with, providing a long list of songs to choose from and gave great guidance on what songs work particularly well. They were a great value as well. I strongly recommend them!

Thank you Peggy and the Eloquence String Quartet for playing at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour this past Memorial Day weekend! You did such a lovely job and helped set the tone of our wedding just perfectly.
My husband and I met with Peggy before our wedding and not only did she listen to what we wanted in terms of music and tone, but she even made suggestions we would have never thought to include. I believe the songs we used for the ceremony all came by way of Peggy!
Eloquence String Quartet are great artists, very easy to work with, and fairly priced. I recommend them to anyone in need of their services.

My husband and I worked with the wonderful Peggy to book our Guitar and Violin duo and we couldn’t have been happier! Peggy also played! We had them play for the ceremony and coctail hour and they played so beautifully, but our favorite was when they played the pop songs during the cocktail hour. Our guests kept turning to us and saying «wait, is that Train or «Chasing Cars» «it was really fun and beautiful! They also were willing to learn a pop song for me that they hadn’t played before and although i didn’t take them up on it I thought it was a great touch! I would highly recommend them for your next event! Thank you for everything!

Peggy and her Eloquence Strings trio were a great addition to our wedding at Auberge du Soleil. Peggy even arranged and played «our song» during the ceremony, which added a personal and special touch. Peggy was very easy to work with, very reliable, super talented and reasonably priced. Eloquence String Quartet played for my daughter’s wedding ceremony and cocktail hour at Beaulieu Garden. They were amazing. My daughter wanted more contemporary music during the ceremony and classical during the cocktail hour and they were splendid! All of our guests mentioned the violinist leading us to dinner and then joining in with our band for the first song of the dinner hour «Start Me Up» by the Rolling Stones. It was unique and fabulous!
