Meet the Manager
Anne W.
Manager
Anne has been working with outdoor education programs since 1999. She has been managing Health & Wellness programs for Napa County Office of Education, the organization that operates Heron Lake Challenge Ropes Course, since 2007. Anne’s first visit to the ropes course was in 5th grade when her class came out on a field trip. Like many people who visit the course today, she experienced memories that will last a lifetime at the ropes course. She is delighted to be running the course now, many years later. Anne studied Anthropology and Experiential Education at the University of California at Berkeley. She holds a California Teaching Credential in Science and Health and can incorporate relevant standards into a day at the course for school groups. Anne earned her Teaching Credential and Master’s Degree at the University of Southern California. Anne and all of the ropes course staff are CPR/First Aid Certified and trained in emergency operations management and of course, in FUN!
