Awesome service done. These guys do an amazing job with any auto repair job requested. Really friendly and a super chill dude. Put in the initial request at 2:30pm. Said he would be at my house in 15 – 20 minutes. Arrived in 10 minutes. Took vin number information and said he would return in 45 minutes with program ready. Arrived in 30 minutes ready and full of energy. Genuinely an awesome guy. Pleasure doing business with him. Highly recommend his business.

Waited an hour for him to show up, he offered us a «cheaper price» if we wrote a 5 star review. After he opened the car he threatened us to charge us extra if we didn’t write the review in front of him. He then proceeded to take my phone away WRITE HIS OWN REVIEW. Creepy and unprofessional if I could give zero stars I would. Would never recommend no matter how urgent the situation was. Unless you liked being harassed and forced to stand in 80 degree weather to write a Unilocal review.

WARNING! DONT EVER USE THIS «BUSINESS»!!! Where do I start. Accidentally locked my keys in my trunk. Had to call this guy on a Sunday as an emergency. Spoke with «Robert» on the phone, he told me that it would be $ 200 dollars to get a new key cut to get access to the trunk because of anti theft device. Gave him all the necessary info to cut a key, he told me that he made the key and was on the way and would be there in about 30 minutes. No problem. He proceeds to show up nearly 2 hours later after repeatedly telling me he would be there in 10 minutes, then 10 more minutes, and so on… Arrived in his own personal car and once he got there he told me that they key he was to have made was «out of stock» for my model car. He then went in his trunk and pulled out what looked to be a set of very shady looking lock picking devices for all sorts of different vehicles. None worked. Then proceeded to tell me that I could pay him $ 400 to basically rip my backseat out to gain access to the trunk, and that AAA insurance would reimburse me. When I said I’d rather not do that, the price got lowered to $ 300 and then $ 250. I told him I still did not want to do that. Then he said I can pay him do go drive somewhere so he could pick up the right key, but it would cost me more because he had to go drive to get it. When asked how much and how long it would take his response was simply «it would cost a lot, and it’s really far». No price, no time limit. Mind you, my mother was there waiting with me in case I needed a ride. We both were trying to reason with him and ask him what can be done and he was more than extremely rude, condescending, and disrespectful to both of us. Then, when he realized that I did not want him to tear apart my car, he said to us «I have better things to do, I’m going to leave now», and got in his car and drove away. I saw other posts about this «business», not sure how this guy is even allowed to operate. In all seriousness, it seems as though this guy used to steal cars and pick locks and now tries to run a business doing it. Totally agree with the psycho comments in other reviews. Please, please, please, do not ever give this person your money. People like him should never be allowed to run a business. I’d give 0 stars if it were possible

I don’t quite understand why the business owner always responds to every negative review if they’re 100% percent true. I called this place because I needed a key for my 2013 Jetta se but the guy on the phone didn’t even know what type of car was that. He said that car was not real. I told him never mind and his respond was fuck you then, and I responded the same way. Stay away from this place. Also this guy takes down negative reviews so watch out.

I lost my car keys and needed a replacement kind of late at night (around midnight). Asked for a quote and the guy (Robert Cantrell) asks me to suggest one. I tell him I know nothing about locksmith prices and give him a number that seemed reasonable to me but was apparently a low-​ball offer. He then hangs up in my face without responding. I then shoot him a text asking if my quote was too low and whether he could just give me a price and he responds with «goodbye». This then spurred a texting back-​and-​forth between he and I. Now he will not stop texting me, threatens to throw me in jail for writing this review, and keeps calling me racial and homophobic slurs. This man is a terrible, terrible man and I really don’t understand how he’s still in business. Literally have received 7 texts from him in the span of writing the last two sentences. Considering getting a restraining order.

You know those moments in life when you are killing it and firing on all cylinders. Nothing bad has happened to you in a while and you are just killing it at work. Then you wonder why everything is going well.
I work as a photographer and was out shooting on Sunday evening and was do for a life mistake. I was driving a VW Tuareg, and popped my trunk and through my camera gear in and hit the auto close button. And then I realized my big mistake. I locked my keys in the trunk. I freaked out, almost puked, turned pale in the face because I was mid shoot and was on my way to change locations. I quickly found this guy on Unilocal.
He was the only one that answered the phone and quickly changed his personal plans to come help. He got there and I was so impressed with his quickness, ability to get into any car and his good price. 10⁄10 would recommend. He got into my car so fast it was shocking. I appreciate him and his great work.

Fast service. A lot of the other people we called were a bit surly. The young man that helped us was confident in his abilities. Lucky got us he was able to help in a tricky situation. We broke the only key we had to our new teardrop trailer while in the road. He was able to make us a new one and get us back on the road in under two hours! Thank you!

I was unable to open 2 safes. One safe he was able to charge from the outside so that the safe per se did not need to be drilled. He then instructed me in how to change the combination & be sure that it worked well. He also provided us written material on that safe. There also was a gun safe in the home we had purchased but the prior owner neither provided the combination, key or manual. He was able to drill out the old lock and replaced it with a new keyed one. He also showed us how to reset the safe if we ever wished to use a combination. Robert was a pleasure to deal with. He was very knowledgeable & seemed to enjoy explaining each step along the way to us.

Lock to our vacation rental jammed and the owner was in Denver, so we checked Unilocal for the closest locksmith we could find and found this one. He came to our place quickly, fixed the lock, and obtained payment from the owner directly over the phone so we wouldn’t have to deal with reimbursements. No complaints.

This Robert Cantrell continues to harass me instead of addressing the problem, not quoting the job before hand, taking my money and while still throwing me out of my house. A real business owner would address the problems. He already admitted that the pseudo name of Todd J is fictitious owner. No doubt to hide his lack of leadership skills. He has had other failed locksmith company’s Cantrell Locksmith and others brought up in earlier comments.
Once you read enough of his texts you will understand that these 5 star reviews are from his own hand.

I locked myself out of apartment so I called this business because my apartment staff was gone for the day. This business was very fast to respond. However, when I contacted them my phone died shortly there after. Thank god I saw my apartment manager on the apartment grounds and she let me in!
When I got into my apartment and was able to charge and turned my phone back on I had several text message from the gentleman that was on his way to help me, he stated he was outside that he did not see me and he left. I responded as soon as I could with a very nice text saying that «I was sooo sorry and apologized for any inconvenience» and he responded by saying «fuck you» I said wow nice way to run your business. He then responded by saying «go fuck yourself». I told him I was going to report his business and he then again said «fuck you» & said stated some PC code that he was going to use to report me! I stopped responding because you never know what people are capable of.
This business is not a business at all they are frauds & criminals. DO NOT USE THEM!
