Gary’s been fixing my cars for over two decades. He’s fair and honest — if he can’t fix it he will tell you. He will tell you what is wrong and why. And he almost always charges less than dealers and other shops. Also — numerous times, he has told me that what I wanted to get fixed didn’t NEED to be fixed… and why. He knows his stuff, has integrity and takes care of his customers.

Can’t say enough about A & G Automotive. Gary came very highly recommended and now I understand why. I’ve been paying thru the nose at the dealership to get my Saab serviced. I finally had enough of the incredibly high prices and decided to try A & G. This place is above and beyond what I could have hoped. They care about the customer. Great to find a mechanic who is honest, honorable, worthy of trust and just plain competent. Definitely take your car needs here. Well done.

Gary is a hidden treasure… honest, fair, and knows what he’s doing. More then once we had a big estimate from Pep Boys or Firestone and Gary fixed it for a fraction of the cost… never sells you on stuff you don’t need. Highly recommend him and his guys. Contact me and I’ll tell you

I was referred to Gary, and its by far the best mechanic I’ve ever been too. Every time he quotes me, and I approve the quote, he does excellent work, and I pay him exactly what he quoted me. His shop has efficient mechanics who clearly know what they are doing, because I’ve never had to go back for the same problem twice. I highly recommend his shop over anyone remotely close.

My family has been going to Gary for years. As a previous poster said, he never tries to sell you things that you don’t need, always gives a fair price, and provides practical advice.
I recently went to him and his team to have some paint buffed off of a car. It was my dad’s car, and when he passed away, I needed to sell it, but it appeared my dad had been in a minor fender-​bender which resulted in some white paint skidded across the side of the car. I was hesitant to even have it seen, but was shocked when an hour after dropping it off, he told me to come by and pick it up. It was already ready. Not only was the job immaculately done, my jaw literally dropped at the pricetag: $ 50.
Unbelievable. My mom had the same done for her car (less damage than mine) and it was only $ 25.
Great, great group of guys. HIGHLY recommended.
