I returned for a second time to the store to look at tables. The first time I was at the store, the sales woman was extremely nice. While she was busy with other customers, she made an effort to help me, talked to my 16 month old son and gave him a cracker. The second time I went to the store, it was empty. There was a different sales woman at the store and she was less than helpful. I again visited with my 16 month old son in tow. I asked a few questions about a table. She then told me to come back and get a babysitter to watch my son so she could go through my options with me. The store was empty and my son was behaved. Needless to say, I will not return or buy any of their products. There are plenty of other stores where I don’t to hire a babysitter to shop and buy their products.

I don’t think I’ll ever go back to this store. When I walked in there was a sales person in the front of the store by the door with another customer. I wasn’t expecting her to drop what she was doing and wait on me but I was expecting to be greeted at the very least. I walked around a bit and another employee walked past me an gave a half hearted smile but didn’t speak or ask if I needed any help. No, I wasn’t dressed up and I was kinda dressed like I just got up and ran out of the house, because I did. I wasn’t expecting to go to that store but that shouldn’t matter. The first sale person finally stopped to speak to me because I believe she had to pass me to do something for the other customers. I told her what I was looking for but she said most things took about three months to come in because they are special ordered. My husband and I had made up our minds that we wanted and Amish table set and I figured if I found something that I liked in the store I would just buy what they had in stock. She immediately led me over to the clearance section. On our way over to the clearance area I pointed out a table that I thought was really nice and I voiced my opinion on it. She immediately turn to me and said that’s the most expensive table in the store and continued to walk towards the clearance section. This lady doesn’t know how much money I make and that I’m not up to my eyeballs in credit card debt because I pay cash for things I like. I was debating if I should just ask to buy the table on the showroom floor but after she just glossed over the fact that I acknowledged the more expensive table I decided to forget it. I think I’ll go back to the Batavia store.

After reading the three reviews listed, with the most recent more than a year and a half old, I thought I would give a more current review. We have spent well over ten thousand dollars at this store the last year and have no complaint with the quality of the product. However, there are several other Amish furniture stores from which to choose, and I would highly encourage you to use one of them, if this is the furniture you want.
One of our orders was placed in September, 2014 and we finally received the CORRECT product in June of 2015. During that almost nine month period, we were essentially told we would get it when we got it, that they were unable to be more specific, and that they could not contact the Amish contractor who was making the furniture. When I asked if the store owner could contact them, the salesperson told me she wouldn’t ask him and we should just be patient. That lady’s name was «Loretta»,
So if you’re good with receiving the wrong product after only 5 months and the right product after only 9 months, this is the store and the sales individual for you!

Pro: The furniture quality was fantastic.
The staff was friendly and down to earth.
The price was on the expensive side, but you could find more economical prices on marked down items.
Con:
The furniture is not as customizable as other high end stores.
Not as much inventory as other high end stores as well.
I will gladly shop at this store in the future. We really liked a lot of the furniture and the customer service was great.

Great products and the employees seemed to enjoy their jobs. More than willing to help out with any questions or concerns.

Some of the pieces of furniture here can be good value, especially if you find some floor samples to take for immediate delivery, One misgiving I do have is about the durability of some of the case goods and some of the smaller pieces. Check joints and cabinet framing carefully for fit, finish and anticipated durability.
The staff here are normally both very nice and eager to help in whatever way they can.
