Purchased wood flooring and tiles at this location, didn’t have any problems with their customer services, the ‘older’ salesmen were very helpful and courteous, as well as their loading dock staff. They will gladly take back any extra cartons. Their wood flooring is a little pricey, but good quality products; just wait for the sales/special discount. If you are looking for wood flooring I suggest you also check-out Lumber Liquidators(West Chicago), they have a larger and cheaper selection. There might be this one bad salesman, that the previous reviewer mentioned, just avoid him. But I do recommend this Century Tiles store.

I will never set foot in a Century Tile & Carpet again. The salesman that helped me out put a bad taste in my mouth for the entire chain. His customer service skills were sorely lacking and his tone was condescending from the moment I asked him for help. I brought a sample of granite that I wanted to coordinate with my kitchen back splash and told him that I was looking for something simple because the granite was kind of busy. He tossed it like a piece of trash onto a display to prove to us that we need to consider the cabinet color, while picking the tile, over the granite. Rudely he made his point, but boy did he grind my gears. I told him that I needed something that I could walk out with today and the immediate response I got was«Why in the hell would you want to do that? You should take your time because whatever you pick you’ll end of hating for the next ten years.» Then continued to tell me that he has been designing for 30 years and that I was making a huge mistake. Mistake or not, I am the customer and I should not be berated by anyone I may be spending my hard earned cash with. I felt like I was being yelled at by my father. My face was burning I was so angry. We only came in to the store to compare prices, already having a strong idea of the type of tile we were interested in. I asked him about subway tile, or carrera marble, but instead he pointed at all these displays that had nothing to do with what I told him. Clearly there was no listening going on here and I walked out. Aside from his poor business conduct, the layout and organization of the store was confusing. The place is dark and poorly lit with odd displays that were hard to navigate through, which is why I regretfully asked this man for help. Take my advice and do not bring your business to Century Tile & Carpet. I visited two other tile stores that day, FCA and The Tile Shop. The salespeople at both places were wonderfully helpful and understood what I needed and guided me with my decisions.
