Clothes Attic’d Consignment Boutique

A terrific shop! Beautiful clothes, reasonably priced. The mother/​daughter owners are just so nice, friendly and helpful. I have two weddings coming up, plan on finding the perfect dresses here.

I had a very bad experience bringing clothes in for consignment. The only instruction is was given was to please bring clothes in between Tuesday — Thursday; which I did. Since it was my first consignment experience, I had no way of knowing they preferred the clothes on hangers. In fact, I had them on hangers on a rolling rack at home, then folded them and put them in a suitcase (for ease of handling) and brought the hangers in case they needed them.
The woman looking them over was obviously disgruntled by the way I brought them in. She made little eye contact with me, mumbled something like «I don’t NEED hangers, I want the clothes ON hangers.» I apologized stating I’ve never brought anything in before and didn’t receive any instructions. After looking through my things (which included many Ann Taylor clothes with tags still on, a year-​old pair of Coach boots, and a Vera Bradley tote with the tags still on), she — again without making eye contact — stated she didn’t want anything. I gestured to the similar Vera Bradley tote she had for sale, and I said, «not even the tote?» «Huh uh.»
I guess she was just annoyed that I didn’t know how she wanted the clothes delivered (mind you, I asked before I came). I guess I’m pretty annoyed I spent a morning carefully selecting clothes, putting them on a rolling rack to inspect, packing them nicely, loading them in my car, driving them to her, unloading them for her to rummage through to take nothing, leaving me to load them back into my car all the while grunting out a few syllables; none of which were «thank you.»
To be fair, the other salesperson offered to help me get my suitcase in my car. That was nice. It was, however, too little too late.

This store is pretty nice. OK resale consignment shop. Quality clothing to choose from. The women who work there are friendly, but a little weird.

Love this store. Found it for the first time today and I will go back again and again. Wonderful clothes, purses and other items at great prices. The staff there were so warm and welcoming as well as attentive. Just a great place!
