I first heard of David’s tea when I was on a trip to Indianapolis and fell in love with the feel and the crazy flavors of tea. I recently went back and tried the jelly bean easter tea and it was so good! The staff is great and extremely patient which is super cool.

I’ve been in this store several times and just really enjoy it. The staff are always super friendly and knowledgeable. They make it fun and never get annoyed that I want to smell a million teas before I make my decisions. They make it a very fun experience and I’m just so glad this store has come to Naperville! My favorite teas… forever nuts, apricot peach, peppermint, and so many more!

I love this cute little place. It’s totally Canadian feel, which is probably because it is a Canadian establishment! I feel pretty lucky Naperville has one, because they aren’t very widespread here in the states. You can walk by on any day at any time(during hours) and try out a little cup of their featured daily tea on the sidewalk, or come on in and they will give you a classier version in a cute little glass shot glass. They have teas for all ages and interests. I brought my 2yo daughter in after a gym workout down the street and she had«birthday cake» tea(herbal) and I had something apple and spicy. It was delicious and she loved it. She talked about her tea all day. A memorable experience for about $ 3.50. I love it and I will be back.

Holy hell do I love Davids Tea. This place is not for the tea purist, as I’ve noticed every tea they make is a blend of one standard tea + herbs/fruits/flavors. So if you like just straight English Breakfast, you might want to stay away. My only gripe is that it’s pretty expensive for what you get, but their blends are spectacular. If you’re looking for a good value, go to Adagio down the street. If you’re looking for something truly amazing and gourmet, then do what I did and drop some phat stacks at Davids. I highly recommend Forever Nuts, Mother’s Little Helper, and Pumpkin Chai(when you can get it).

This was my first visit to a David’s Tea store, and I was visiting from out of town. My friend and I had a great experience getting recommendations and sampling teas before making our choices. I went with Serenity Now and it was excellent. But what made the experience really special was the helpfulness of the staff and the customer service we received. Check it out!

This is a really lovely tea shop. It is located in downtown Naperville in a very nice area. Parking is easy to find, in fact this shop is located right next door to a parking garage. I really enjoyed just walking in. Everything is so colorful and pops against the stark white of the counters and shelving. The tea is largely loose leaf, which is wonderful. They encourage you to take a big smell and even offer you samples so you can be sure you are purchasing exactly what you like. They have wonderful seasonal teas and brew tea there to go as well. They even brew tea lattes that I am very curious to try. I prefer it over teavana for sure. They offer tea in bags as well but the selection in much more limited. Love this place, and I will always make it a point to stop by when I’m in town.

I absolutely love this place and come here for all of my tea. I would give David’s a 5 star rating, however this place is so tiny and you are bound to knock something over if it’s crowded. Also, you cannot tell if you’ll like the taste of a certain tea just by smelling it. They only offer samples of what they would like you to try. When this place first opened, the staff was excellent, welcoming and eager to help you. The staff today seems as if you’re bothering them. Coming from retail, I understand that everyday isn’t a good day, but a hello and smile would be nice! Welcome all customers, not just some.

This is a great store. Their tea is delicious. There is a plethora of flavored tea for everyone. I had the toasted walnut(unsweetened) and it was so good. I could taste the walnuts infused in the tea. Great staff. They ask if you have any food allergies, which is very considerate of them.

I was meeting a friend for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and I arrived early. I walked out of the parking garage and stumbled into David’s Tea. I walked in and was immediately greeted and asked about food allergies. I got 2 samples of teas and they were very delicious. I noticed how cute and bright the shop was. There is a wall of teas and they have a lot of retail merchandise. I was unsure as to what to try so I asked for a recommendation. I told the woman that I liked tea lattes made with soy and I like sweeter teas. She brought 3 canisters and I was able to sniff, look and feel the tea. I went with the love tea # 7 which is a blend of black tea, chocolate, strawberries and rose petals. I asked for it over and unsweetened and OMG was it good! The flavor was amazing, I could taste the chocolate and strawberry. While the tea was unsweetened I probably could have used a pump of the agave sweetener that I was told they have. I went back on Wednesday since I so happened to be in the area and I went in again. This time I tried the red velvet cake which is a blend of chocolate, white chocolate, sprinkles and beet root, I got it iced as a tea latte with soy. Just thinking about it is making my mouth water! I loved this cute tea place and I will go back again. Friendly staff, they know their teas and cute establishment. They have a frequent buyer card too. Once you register you get a free tea. Have to get on it and register my card.

Finally had the chance to step foot into DavidsTEA! This store has such a happy and vibrant ambiance, so great for a summer tea spot for some freshly brewed iced tea! I must admit though, for the flavored green teas, there are hardly any true tea leaves in it. It’s more so an herbal tea with a pinch of green tea leaves. Regardless to say, their teas there are sooo sooo YUMMY!!! Lately, I have been trying to cut out sugars from my diet… so that entails no juice, soda, or coffee. So the flavored teas here are really an awesome alternative! I think that this tea shop has the BEST flavored teas, which are so great for the summer! …If I want something more earthy and traditional, then I’ll go with Adagio Teas since I actually find it more authentic there. I used to only enjoy traditional teas, but DavidsTEA opened up my eyes to different flavors! :) For those who are hating on DavidsTEA for their artificial flavoring. DavidsTEA does not claim to be a purely organic tea shop! The ones that are organic are clearly labeled and the artificial flavors are also labeled in their nutrition facts. So if you don’t want the artificial flavoring, then you have a a huge selection to pick from! :) There is a perfect tea for everyone! not all tea has to be organic! I also love how they have seating in their store, which is super nice if you wanna have a spot to study or chat with a friend. It’s the only tea shop that I know of that has seating. I’ll definitely become a regular for this reason!

First time in here, the staff was very knowledge, friendly and patient, with lots of samples and suggestions. I loved the teapop(iced tea with carbonated water). My friend didn’t care for the carbonation, so it’s not for everyone I guess but I found it very refreshing. I will definitely be returning here, I am already a fan.

I really really love this place! Recently having some stress and migraine issues improve with herbal tea, ran across this place when we went to Naperville this afternoon. My daughter got the birthday cake tea and it was ok, she said. I got the Berry Poppins tea and really enjoyed it. While my husband and son went next door to get some gelato, I started reading about the other teas that they have. I ended up getting the Serenity Now, which smells absolutely amazing. It has currants, rose hips, lavender, spearmint, blueberries, quite, Apple, hibiscus, rose petals, and strawberries and I am sitting here drinking it in my new travel mug. I can’t wait to go back and try other teas with my daughter — what a great place!

I’m proud to say that I’m a tea addict thanks to this place. Cute, cozy little tea shop just steps away from the clothing stores like anthropologie. It’s a good pit stop to jump start your excursion of downtown Naperville. When you walk in, you see their wall of teas on the left, and on the right you see all the merchandise that they carry for the teas. They greet you and give you samples of their special tea of the day. They reel me in every time with their tea! Love their mugs. I suggest you buy a tea mug there. Currently, I’m a black tea lover and my favorites are their love potion, and the red velvet tea. Wow, and if you looking to cut on your sugar intake, Davids tea is a great place. They can make their teas hot, can make it into Tea pop(so good) and even lattes. A great alternative to cappuccinos or mocha lattes. Less calories and a healthier option.

Don’t waste your money at this shop. The tea I purchased was stale or stored improperly. I tried to exchange it for different tea. The store employees refused to do the exchange as they stated the tea I purchased was discontinued. Probably because is is bad. Customer satisfaction is important in a business. Selling bad products and refusing to make good on a $ 4.00 sale is a good way to go out of business.

Cute little tea shop in downtown Naperville in the newly renovated Main Street Promenade area. There are three small tables inside if you want to order a beverage and sit indoors to drink it. They sell teas by the ounce and also hot, iced or a latte. I think the prices are quite expensive for brewed tea, especially considering there’s a Starbucks nearby at about half the price, but the tea here is absolutely incredible. The selection is also outstanding. So I know where to go when I want to treat myself.

When I heard DavidsTea was coming to town I broke my long-term relationship off with Adagio. For years I had my friends/family from Canada bring it down to me, but YAAAAY!!! I can get it here in the states now without having to wait months or even years to taste this decadent treat. I’m a huge fan of white, green, and now black teas. If you want something sweet without feeling guilty try getting tea lattes. These teas NEVER disappoint! I almost always get the ceremonial matcha green tea latte, but I have now discovered the red velvet cake soy latte. It is absolutely delicious! Sorry, Adagio Tea. You’ve been so good to me, but I did find something better.

I went in here for a present for my mom and dad. I told myself, I was strictly getting them something and I was going to walk out. Dang! That lasted a whole 2 seconds! I walked in, and this place is like the Apple Store for Tea. Within 2 seconds of me walking in the store, a girl greeted me with 2 different types of tea to try. I was like ughhhhh, and gave in. I tried Sleigh Ridge, of course, they is the seasonal limited time holiday one, but loved it! Yes, I got suckered into buy tea. I told the lady, «I don’t do this stuff» and kept asking what all the different types of products were in the store. She explained everything to me. I may stop drinking coffee, she has me hooked on this new tea phenom. I realized, tea is an Anyways, great service and very friendly people. The store in very clean, airy and just feels fresh inside. They have many different products, honestly something for everybody. If you didn’t drink tea before, you may after you visit this store. =))

My friends gawk about how fabulous David’s Tea is in the city, but I moved back to the ‘burbs before every getting to try it! ATLAST — a DAVIDsTea in Naperville! I was wrapping up a serious afternoon of shopping downtown Naperville and needed a thirst quenching and refreshing pick-me-up. My first instinct was to buzz thru a ‘bux window for my standard green iced tea unsweetened, but then I remembered there was now a David’s Tea right in downtown Nape by the garage I was parked in. Success! I was overwhelmed when I walked in. My hands were full of my day’s purchases and the staff immediately offered their help with the door and to set my belongings down at a table(how thoughtful). I scanned the shop and took in a bunch of bright colors and TONS of tea options! These ladies knew what they were talking about. I must have looked like a deer in headlines browsing behind the counter for anything that resembled green tea. I was immediately educated. I told them what I was looking forward and I was presented with 3 different green tea options to smell. All seemed delicious, but I went with what sounded closest to my SB usual. Detox Organic Green Iced Tea = bom dot com This lovely tea is a rejuvenating blend of rooibos, sencha, ginger, ginkgo, lemongrass and juniper. It’s true, I’m not familiar with half of those ingredients, but the combo is absolutely delicious. DAVIDsTea knows their stuff!
