The firm of Dennis R Wencel, Certified Public Accountant, was founded in 1980 to serve Naperville, Illinois and the surrounding area. Prior to starting the firm Dennis worked as an accountant for Western Electric and Western Business Services. In 1993 Maureen Wencel-​Winckler joined the firm as a Certified Public Accountant.

Maureen is following in her father’s footsteps in serving Naperville’s small business community. Since joining the firm in 1993 she has held steadfast to the firm’s commitment to remaining a small local company. The company is still run from the house where she was raised in Naperville’s historic district.
