Had my first child there in June. Everything was amazing. The nurse I had in the OR(Gina) was great. I was very nervous with getting a spinal and she made things so easy and comforting while my husband wasn’t allowed in the room. All the nurses I had were great and very quick to take care of any needs I had. They were also very accommodating with my very large family coming in to see the baby. Nothing bad to say about the hospital.

I was told to put on gown right before this man opened the door without knocking or anything. Thankfully my mother was like blocking me since I had only been wearing a bra… But he just kept standing there looking now I was finding out he’s the one who would transport me to the scanning(xray). Also had to ask 3 different people for a doctors note for my work and finally got it after waiting over 25 minutes! This place is slow! And felt very uncomfortable with the man barging in. Other than that getting medication was fast it is a vending machine type thing and they gave me an IV.

I have been seen in this ER before with my child. Great ER, great staff. Today I took a nursing recertification course. Again, great staff. Great facility, great location. I’ve seen my share of hospitals being an RN and this one is top notch. Will return!

Be careful! Last time I was in an ER at an Edwards Hospital(maybe it was this one) it was night and the staff used the wrong dye in the cat scan of my body so they only found one of the kidney stones that I had. the one that they found was the smaller one. They forgot to send me home with the medicine that is used for helping the stones pass. In fact they didn’t send me home with any medicine! My mom learned from a friend in her Facebook group who is a urologist at the mayo clinic that the medical staff really made a huge mistake and got ua an appointment with a nearby urologist at a different hospital who gave us the medicine, but we ended up finding out about the second kidney stone that happened to be much larger, a few weeks after the first one passed. And having to have a stint in me for 7 days was very painful and I was at home and taking pain medicine. Maybe if the er staff at Edwards was better a whole lot of pain could have been avoided. To sum it up, be careful of the night staff at Edwards er!

My 4 year old had an x ray here the other day. She has a chronic endocrine disorder so we are at the doctor or getting some sort of test pretty frequently so she is really apprehensive whenever we go somewhere to get something done, understandably. The staff here was awesome! From the lady who registered us(I wish I remembered her name because she was really great interacting with my daughter and I soooo appreciate it) to the x ray technician. my daughter walked out of the office with a smile and said, «that was not that bad, you were right!» We also did not have to wait very long as far as test wait times go. The center was clean and modern. All added bonuses but what really made an impact was the staff.
