History

Paul and Lori Hogan founded Home Instead, Inc. and began serving seniors in Omaha, Nebraska as Home Instead Senior Care in 1994. It was Paul Hogan’s own family experience caring for his grandmother for 12 years that made him realize the need for non-​medical eldercare and companionship services to help seniors live independently at home.

In June 1995, the company began franchising. Our Franchise Owner, Roger Carr, started the Naperville office of Home Instead Senior Care® in September 2003 after his own family faced issues of needing an in-​home CAREGiver for his father. He opened our St. Charles, IL office shortly thereafter.

Between our office staff and CAREGivers, we each have personal stories and family experiences that give us a passion for working with seniors and elderly.

Our Naperville office of Home Instead Senior Care® is located at 500 E. Ogden Ave., Suite 204, just east of Naperville North High School, and blocks away from downtown Naperville.
