Lee Mandel has been my parents’ accountant for as long as I can remember, so naturally once I became a «grown up» I sent my own taxes his way.
Now, I literally know nothing on the subject, but of course that’s where Lee comes in. The whole tax process at his office is really simple. My husband and I met with him this year and were in and out in like 20 minutes. He’s very straightforward, personable, and funny — all which make tax season a pleasant breeze!
Lee is a super hard worker and very knowledgeable in everything involving taxes. All he asks of us is to show up with our W2s and any other necessary documents and he takes care of the rest. Easy peasy.
I think their services are reasonably priced too, and they make things easy by allowing you to pay right online.

I am so happy that a neighbor referred me to Preston Andersen. He did such a great job with my mess of paperwork! And he handled my messy return with a smile and patience. I would definitely be returning year after year! Preston really took his time, asked lots of questions, answered my questions, and even thought of things that I didn’t! VERY PLEASED!

Another guy from Chicago that’s been driving out to Naperville for about 12 year. This man is not only funny, he is brilliant, honest but crafty. He saved my mom’s butt too when her estate was all screwed up when pop died. You can not go wrong with having your taxes done by this great guy.

Gotta Unilocal my accountant. You wanna know how good he is? Look at his address: that’s right, Naperville. I would rather drive to Naperville every year in March to use Lee than use anybody else in Chicago (where I live.) If that isn’t a ringing endorsement, I don’t know what is.
Seriously, his rates are competitive and he really knows his craft. I have never been «disappointed» with my bottom line (even when I was prepared to be disappointed.) He is also a great advisor on tax issues. I have called him with tax related questions during the year and he always returns my calls promptly and gives me thoughtful, helpful answers.
Oh yeah, and did I mention he’s funny too? That really helps when your approaching April 15^th…
