Specialties
Meson Sabika is a Spanish tapas restaurant. Tapas are usually deemed as a wide variety of small plates, finger foods, and appetizers, or just a small portion of a special dish. Tapas are not a particular type of food, but rather a way of dining. Tapas are best defined as the Spanish tradition of enjoying many appetizer sized dishes. Tapas are neither starters nor an entrée. The entire meal consists of these smaller dishes that are shared around the table, encouraging guests order as many of the different dishes as they choose. Whether you’re looking for a lighter snack at the bar, or feast fit for a king, Meson Sabika provides an exquisite experience for everyone.
History
Established in 1990.
The Willoway Mansion was built in 1847 and sits on a pristine four-acre estate near downtown Naperville. After a meticulous renovation that brought back the mansion’s original charm as well as added modern conveniences to the restaurant, Mesón Sabika opened its doors in 1990. Our Guests may dine indoors and enjoy the grace and charm reminiscent of a European Villa or enjoy the ultimate alfresco experience underneath 150-year-old oak trees which cover the estate. Whether you are enjoying hot and cold tapas, sangria, an entrée or a vintage wine. There’s always a pleasant combination of exceptional food, friendly service, and unique atmosphere. Additionally, Mesón Sabika has become one of the most-sought after venues for weddings and events in the Chicagoland area. We believe it’s our customers that have allowed us to become what we are, and we are eager to serve you in any way that we can. It’s our goal to continue to exceed expectations and prove that every meal we serve is worthy of the aw
