Our goal is to assist families who seek for their children to learn Spanish in a fun and natural way, through play.

Our mission

Learning a new language can be very challenging, at Play & Learn Spanish our main focus is teaching Spanish through play; games, songs and activities are used to keep the children engage while learning a new language.

Program Description

Play & Learn Spanish provides a safe and nurturing environment where the child can develop as a whole, using their five areas of development, cognitive, physical, social, emotional and aesthetic.

Our teachers, natives Spanish speakers, use positive guidance techniques and developmental appropriate practices to offer the children self exploration, self confidence and the motivation to learn.

Our curriculum includes literacy (reading and writing), math, small and large motor, music (songs), and games all in Spanish.

Currently we do tutoring only for private or groups.

Vanessa E.

Business Owner

Vanessa (Vega) Engstrom is a native Spanish speaker from Peru, South America. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education & Care from College of DuPage and has been working with children for over 10 years (mostly in Spanish). She has a five year old daughter who is being raised bilingual in English and Spanish (reading and writing)!
