Perpetual Adoration Chapel
History
Established in 1846.
Saints Peter & Paul was founded in 1846 and is the oldest established parish in DuPage County. Although the first church served 25 families, and was a small frame structure with a lean-to attached to the south side, the parish now has more than 4000 families and a plethora of ministries. The present church was constructed in 1927 and underwent a restoration of the sanctuary in January of 2015.
The parish school was founded in 1853 and continues to flourish with more than 550 students. The school is known for its strong Catholic formation as well as excellent academics. The school recently received recognition as a Blue Ribbon School by the Department of Education.
