A SugarToad is a rough little blowfish from the Chesapeake Bay eaten as a delicacy with a reputation for being «sweet like sugar but ugly as a toad.»
Meet the Manager
Chef Jeffery P.
Manager
Executive Chef, Jeffery Potter, hails from Dayton, Ohio. Although he holds degrees from Ohio State University and Johnson and Wales University as well as certifications through North Carolina State University and the American Society for Quality, he credits his most relevant culinary education as the years of friendship with a great chef from Brittany. «He has instilled in me a great appreciation for classical ideas, the desire to practice proper technique, and the importance of hard thought as a partner to the hard work of the kitchen.» Chef Potter has spent the past 22 years chasing those ideals. Chef Potter’s greatest enjoyments come from spending time with his wife and three children, nurturing his team, and serving his guests’ every need. «To receive guests is to take charge of their happiness during the entire time they are under your roof.» Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin
