History

Established in 1989.

Len Franckowiak founded The BrickKicker in 1989. Len loved residential architecture along with the challenge of identifying the nature of the component systems that made up ‘whole of the house’. Upon years of building and rehab projects being completed and quality inspected, Len gained a unique understanding of excellence vs sub-​par craftsmanship. He was also a student of ’cause-​effect’ deficiency analysis. In short, Len was a natural home inspector.

Carrying a basic philosophy of ‘Excellence in Service Quality’, we captured the spirit of Len’s vision providing home inspections and related services to the real estate industry. Every BrickKicker was trained and field tested in technical competence, communication skills and tactical service presence. We became the standard of professionalism.

Ron Ewald, President of The BrickKicker Home Inspection and founding partner of The BrickKicker brand strives to assure his clients are fully satisfied. Ron has a simple approach to the business utilizing a «roll up the sleeves» philosophy, which is a direct reflection upon his work. He genuinely enjoys sharing his enthusiasm of the real estate transaction with the realtor and the homebuyer.

In addition to the Naperville headquarters, Ron is also the President and CEO of The BrickKicker National franchise network. He holds passion for training and teaching sales and marketing concepts to individuals new to the home inspection industry. In June of 2014, Ron and his company celebrated The BrickKicker’s 26^th birthday. Today, the national brand has become a symbol of professional excellence in the home inspection industry.
