Honest and helpful. My teenager dunked her phone into a bowl of ice cream (mistook it for her spoon) and it works fine except for the loud speaker. The Apple Store could only sell us a whole new phone so they suggested we could try these guys for a possible repair. uBreakiFix said they would look at it and, if it was just a problem with the loud speaker, they could replace that part for $ 70. Bargain! Unfortunately for us, after they put in a new speaker and tested it, it didn’t work any better so the problem is actually with the motherboard itself, therefore irreparable. After all that, they charged us exactly zero dollars. We are impressed that they did that work for free. Next time we have an issue, we’ll definitely try them again.

Highly competent and very honest, this particular location goes the extra mile to provide stellar service. It was a pleasure to work with the staff. I brought two non– working iPod Classics in and had a diagnosis within the hour. Apple could take notice and change their process for working with customers. I highly recommend them for anything electronic. In line, I observed various people with cell phone woes get excellent service as well.

I took my 2 kids’ phones to the Apple store in downtown Naperville for repairs only to be told I’d have to come up with $ 250 for each of the phones to be fixed! Boooo! I’m walking back to my car and realized I had parked right in front of UBreakIFix. Well, I can’t put into words how happy I am to have found this place! They got both phones back in perfect working order for $ 49/​each, needless to say I’m on Cloud 9! Not to mention the customer service is top notch!

I dropped off an iPhone with a cracked screen and an iPad that was only showing blue flashes followed by a black screen. I thought it needed a new LCD. ($ 115) They fixed the phone, but they said the iPad had no problems. They said it may have just needed a restart. I appreciate the honesty and it’s working great now! Paid for the phone and they charged nothing for the iPad. I will return for sure if needed. I do recommend checking Internet pricing before going in. They honored the Internet prices, but they were different than the prices I was quoted when I first walked in.

iPhone 5c screen popped out. It’s happened before and I was able to push it back in. This time it was stuck and by the camera, I didn’t wanna risk pushing it in.
Went in and the guy at the desk unscrewed it and popped it back in. Free of charge. Very friendly staff.

This place is amazing. My 5c was shattered and would not turn on.

These guys are really straightforward location couldn’t be any more convenient they’re friendly knowledgeable and the main thing is they get the job done and it’s a fair price five stars

Buywer beware. It’s worth mentioning that the store offers a discount off services for writing a Unilocal review. Great, who doesn’t love a discount? The problem with this is you have to review them before you pick the product up, then show them the review on your phone when you get your device back. So keep that in mind when reading reviews– most people haven’t spent time with the item after it’s been «Repaired».
I cracked my iPad Air screen. I was told they’ve fixed them before but would have to take a week to order the part. Okay no problem. Pick it back up and the screen is good as new. My only complaint (and it was minor enough I didn’t mention it) is that the button is now really indented and recessed behind the iPad face. To the point where it is difficult to press.
60 days into the 90 day warranty the middle right portion of the screen becomes unresponsive. I take it back in and was told there is a 5% defect rate. Okay, I can accept that, they replace it, I bring it home the next day. As soon as I put my magnetic cover back on I knew something was wrong. If the cover is folded back behind the iPad it puts it in sleep mode. It’s extremely sensitive and the lightest tap will do this.
Trip 3 back to Ubreakifix. They have my iPad for several days, no one calls me. I call to check in. They are researching the problem. I was told their glass doesn’t have the same magnets as Apples which is interesting because initially they alleged it is the exact same minus an Apple logo on the inside. They are now trying to determine if they can get the part. On top of that the menu button I mentioned before is becoming more indented by the day. It’s now to the point of being extremely difficult to press. As far as that problem goes I was told «they put them back together the best they can, sometimes that happens».
The place is great in theory but what I wouldn’t give to do it over again, pay the extra $ 100 to Apple and have it fixed properly. Also worth noting, when I was in for the third time two other customers who were waiting overheard me talking with the clerk and stopped me to say they’ve heard of others having issues after iPad fixes.

Lesson learned! Go to UBreakIFix for all your gadget needs the FIRST time. I went to UBreakIFix in downtown Naperville with my 2^nd broken iphone5 screen. They were so friendly and helpful and had my phone fixed within 90 minutes. AND they let my dog and I hang out in their lobby so bonus points there. They will have my continued business and I’m definitely going to spread the word that they are awesome.
The first time I broke my phone I took it to some place in the mall that charged me only $ 80. The screen never seemed the same after that. It wasn’t as sensitive to my touch and camera was damaged. AND it took them 3 hours.
I decided to spend the $ 120 at UBreakIFix and man– my phone is like brand new. Don’t waste your time at these other places. Get it done right the first time at UBreakIFix!

I am unfortunately notorious for dropping my phone. I honestly can’t count the number of phones I’ve broke. Sadly, I may be known as Mrs. Butterfingers…
With that being said, I am super thankful for uBreakiFix! I’ve been here a few times now and it’s nice knowing I can repair my iPhone without having to dish out a ton of dough by getting it fixed by the manufacturer or having to replace the phone it all together. uBreakiFix = my savior.
I’ve always had great customer service here. When my iPhone4 screen was cracked it only took them an hour to fix which is awesome. The water damage on my iPhone5 took about 3 days, but that’s because they had to run different diagnostics and what not. Regardless, both phones were fixed and for like a third of the cost!
Perk: This location is right downtown Naperville, so there are plenty of places to check out and kill time while your phone is being fixed :)
