TERRIBLE. We were having the inspection done on a home we were purchasing, but we were from another state, and therefore unable to easily check anything ourselves. A couple family members of ours used to inspect homes, and when we sent them a copy of the report they were appalled. They said it was one of the least thorough home inspection reports they had ever seen. They also said it was one of the most expensive. I wish we would have believed them, because after moving in we found problem after problem that was never mentioned by the inspector. On day one of move-in, the AC was completely non-functional. Luckily we caught this in our walk through before we closed on the home and were able to get the seller to take care of it. Soon after moving in we had pool company come to do chemical treatment on the pool. They immediately pointed out that the pool was obviously leaking, which they pointed out was easy to see by the water line that was 2 inches above the water. He quickly did a walk around the pool and found a crack at the spiller that was so large it had popped a tile off and cracked a couple other tiles. I was amazed that Brenton of InspectTest did a pool inspection without our permission, and charged us for it(which we paid anyway to not have to deal with hassle and conflict), and yet he completely missed a crack that is visible above water. We contacted him about the crack and initially he responded as if he was going to take care of it. After we sent him the estimates we were getting in, along with several other inquiries about the matter, he never responded again. Absolutely, completely UNPROFESSIONAL! Stay away from this company. We have also found several other problems with the home since moving in, and REGRET having ever trusted this man with inspecting our home.
