Manatee Sightseeing Eco-​Tourism Adventure offers an educational nature tour of the Florida wildlife. Our boat tours are personal with only six passengers allowed on the boat at a time and Captain Barry guarantees you’ll spot a manatee.

If you don’t see a manatee, you don’t pay for the tour!

Awesome day on the water with Captain Jim!!!
Great day on the water, a lot to see. Alligators, Lots of Manatees, and Dolphins. Captain Jim was fun to talk with and is extremely knowledge!

I had an amazing time! I learned so much on this trip from Captain Jim! He was extremely nice and wonderful to be around! We saw at least a dozen manatees and 3 gators! We’re saw at least 4 mom and baby pairings. My favorite pairing was Mountain Dew and her baby Doritos! I learned so much about the local history. Captain Jim was an amazing guy! I think I’m going to take an island tour! I would highly recommend taking this tour! You’ll see so much! I learned so many things, I never new learning could be so much fun! I’m excited to see what the research will show about the Love Canal in progress! If your going to take a tour request captain Jim, you won’t be disappointed! — Lauren H

We had a great trip with Captain Jim. We saw many manatee’s «so close you could pet them». We also saw a few Alligators too and Captain Jim’s son got us up close too them. We had a great time and really enjoyed the tour and the jokes that the Captain made. I would definitely recommend this trip!

My husband and I had a great time on this tour. Captain Storm was very competent, knowledgeable and entertaining. It was a pleasant time. I wanted to see manatees in their habitat, and that happened several times. We saw mamas with calves and several others. In between sightings, we learned many interesting facts about these fascinating creatures, and saw many other creatures along the way. It was all we hoped for!

Great tour! Saw a ton of manatees. Captain Storm was awesome. He was extremely knowledgeable about the SW Florida ecosystem. He had a great sense of humor. The icing on the cake was the American Bald Eagle.

Great tour. Captain Jim was wonderful. The ride down the river and was full of great lessons about manatee about their teeth and hands — just amazing. We were able to see your mom and her calf swimming and they came up right next to the boat we were able to see them inches away it was amazing. I recommend to anybody who wants to go learn about manatees, relax and enjoy a great tour. The reason for the 4 star instead of 5 is due to the boat seats were extremely moldy. Tour and captain a 5 but the boat was a 2.

We had a great time with Captain Andrew and his dog Bella! We saw a lot of Manatees — too many to count! We also saw a lot of other wildlife as well. Definitely worth the trip!

We saw at least five Manatees, including a mother and calf, an alligator, bald eagle, and a snook fish.
It’s a pretty one hour boat ride/​stroll (no wake zone) through mangroves and the backyard of the «winter» homes of the wealthy.
Captain Kent was informative and made the trip interesting.
We used plenty of insect repellant and were not bothered at all by anything other than some sparkly and friendly dragonflies. I also wore a hat, but most of the boat is covered and offers at least partial shade at all times.
I heard no pitch at all for a tip, but we left one because we enjoyed the tour. I highly recommend it.

I was pretty impressed with Manatees Guaranteed. Our captain was friendly and knew his stuff. We saw lots of Manatees and Osprey and even a Snooke (sp?) This would be a fun things for families or like we were a bunch of adults. You can bring drinks and food on the boat too which is good to know.
It is a little weird the pitch you will get that the captains work for tips. For almost $ 40 bucks a person, it seems like the company should pay their people right and knock off the begging for tips.

We had captain Andrew and his dog Bella. This was a great boat ride. They were closing and stayed open just for us. It was amazing. Lots of information, kids got to drive, and we saw a alligator.
It’s not fast by no means but it was great with the kids.

We are repeat customers: we returned after touring with Capt. Al last year. Today we were 5 adults and 4 kids, so we had to split into two boats, this time with Capt. Kent and Capt. Rich. Both were knowledgeable and amiable, making it an enjoyable and educational 90 minute trip for adults and kids alike. We learned a lot about manatees (who knew they were related to elephants?), saw several, and also caught sight of a gator. The kids got to drive the boats, which was probably their favorite part. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to the area.

We had a very lovely private boat ride with Capt. Kent. It was a slow pontoon boat through some lagoons near the marina.
This was a perfect ride to take with our one and a half year-​old son. We saw manatees and alligators as well as birds. If you’re expecting a fast airboat ride through the Everglades this is not the tour for you.
We «won» a buy one get one free from our hotel, so we saved $ 38.
As of writing this review there was only one other review which was very negative. I’m assuming that person was not able to the research before booking the tour. Our tour was as we expected. And I don’t know why you’d be shocked that it’s customary to tip the captain. You would tip a taxi driver.
