He was drunk. By drunk I mean hammered. I would have ran out of the place if I wasn’t there with my soon to be brother in law before his wedding. The facility was dirty, hair everywhere. The sanitizing liquid that is supposed to be blue was black. My hair was terrible. The other guys cuts were not so bad. Not only that but he cut the back of my neck with the clippers. No thank you.

When to Jimmy for my first cut with him today. Called and he was free so I dropped by right away.
He was quick and efficient — did a great job. Definitely a professional.
Upon returning home for the post haircut once over with the wife — she was very pleased.
I will be back!

While they still give great haircuts here, don’t expect them to keep posted hours or even your appointments. I had an interview so I had schedule an early appointment for the next day. Later that night Jim tried to change the time of the appointment from 10 am to 11 am. I hesitantly agree since I really needed a haircut. The next morning not 30 mins before the appointment I get a text message from Jim telling me that he isn’t coming in. I had explained how I had an important interview but no response.

Let me start by saying that Jimmy and Greg are polite, friendly and do a great job cutting hair. I’ve been coming here since it opened. However, they are rarely open on time. Today, a Friday!, I arrived at 11:25. The posted hours say they open at 10:00. I waited 15 minutes and left. This is an ongoing pattern. Even when you call to check if they are open you have to leave a message and they never call back.
I honestly don’t know how they stay in business. It’s very frustrating and a shame because they do a great job. Hope this is a wake-​up call, guys – pun intended.

Been coming to Jimmy for a while now. Great and consistent cuts. Great conversation and you get that good olé barber feel — the kind of place your grandfather used to go where everyone knew each other. The quality of the cut is great, lines are never long and the price is awesome. No complaints here!

I read the reviews carefully before bringing my 6 ½ year old son here for his first real hair cut. We’ve been doing it at home his whole little life and pulling it off because of his thick head of curls, but the kid wanted to go short and try something new.
This is NOT a kids place. I was aware of that going into it. There are no kid accoutrements. Jimmy did accommodate us by turning the news off and putting on golf at my request so the kid didn’t need to watch bombs exploding in the Gaza Strip on tv.
I kind of had to lead the pre-​haircut conversation regarding what we wanted. Jimmy didn’t give much guidance here in terms of helping us explain or determine our end goal.
BUT the dude gave a phenomenal haircut. Seriously he did a very very nice job and we will definitely be back. We made an appointment and didn’t have to wait. (Big Plus.) He was fast and to the point. (Plus.) The price is super fair. (Plus.)
The cut is killer and it wasn’t straightforward and easy. Jimmy put in alot of special touches. Used a few different instruments. Tons of hair everywhere. I could not have imagined a better outcome.
And the kid was really happy. A nice mellow experience. Not fluffy. Not fancy. But just what we needed. Next I will try to get the husband guy into see Jimmy. I’m pretty sure Jimmy could do anyone’s hair and made it look fab, and I even found myself asking if he does women’s cuts. (Turns out he does, not so much here but at a salon in Bucks County a few days a week.)
So that’s the deal. If a great cut is what you want for a boy or a man, and you don’t need a lot of fluff, there’s a high chance of success here.

After being in dire need of of a haircut and serious sideburn trim. I decided to take a chance and see if their were any suburbia stylists on par with who I go to in the city. So after getting recommendations from my folks and some friends who have gotten solid cuts at Jimmy’s I decided to give him a try, and am more than satisfied with the results.
Despite being close to the park and main strip of Narberth, the barber shop is on a fairly unsuspecting street as it just has a couple office spaces surrounding it. But the good sized parlor with a comfortable waiting area and big screen TV make it well worth the visit and wait. And while the back room with a pool table could just as easily hold more stylist chairs, it is a pretty cool spots to kick back in and have some fun.
Jimmy is a classic barber with a new school stylist twist, and it definitely showed with the results. Had no real instructions in mind aside from it being shorter and shag free, but it led to Jimmy taking it stride and letting the detail show. Add in some good conversation during the cut and there’s plenty of reason to be back.

Thank God… a great hair cut on the Mainline that won’t cost you $ 50.
Jimmy is funny and does a fantastic job. Perfect fade and length.

My son and husband have gotten only good haircuts at Jimmy Cameron’s, and they love going there. Won’t go anywhere else now.

Great music, great atmosphere, great people. Definitely going to make this my regular spot. My hairstyle may help complete the review — I have a side-​part hairstyle.

Just popped in today while walking around Narberth with my wife and kids. My 2yo son and I got a haircut from Greg, who did a great job with both of us. He has a little stool for the little kids to sit on. I’ve been coming here since they opened. Jimmy does a great job too, and my son loved playing with the pool table when it’s my turn to get a cut.

Very nice guy however both times I got my haircut there my sideburns were very uneven and had to fix them when I got home.
