Best bagels north of NYC. Nice people and great service!

A while back I decided to return to Bagel Alley after living in California for a few years. I remember my grandfather taking me there when I was a kid. I took my wife(from California) who has never had a good bagel(try getting good pizza or bagels in california = impossible). I instantly remembers that these bagels are as good as any others out there and rivals those from NYC. As many have said they definitely don’t skimp on the cream cheese. Great little gem in Nashua. Biggest negative is the cash only policy, I’ve had to run to citizen’s bank on multiple occasions.

Best bagels in Nashua, hands down. I’ve been buying their bagels for probably 30 years.(Yes, I am old!) With their loyalty card, you get a free bakers dozen after you buy them 12 times. I often buy a dozen and freeze them so we eat them for a couple of weeks. If you call ahead they will set them aside for you so you can get what you want. Best of all is when you get them when they are still warm.

Very good bagels and pleasant service in a quaint building. Toppings we tried including hummus and lox were OK. Best bagel in the area.

This is the best bagel shop in the area for good reason. The bagels are generously sized, always made to perfection and just plain delicious.

The only REAL bagel in the area. There is a reason they have been around for years. Bring your cash(no debit or credit cards) and be prepared to have the best bagels. Oh… and for the cream cheese lovers… they don’t skimp! Pizza bagels are the best at lunch!!!

We visit the Bagel Alley booth at the Natick Farmer’s Market every Saturday morning and we love their bagels! They are so tasty and even better with cream cheese. We look forward to their bagels every Saturday.

I’ve always done takeout from here and been pretty happy. They have a good selection of bagels and also sell flavored cream cheese. Usually I’ll get a dozen and freeze half and have half now, nice bagels.

Bagel was delicious but the egg sandwich was terrible. Microwaved egg with sausage. To use all the effort on creating a scratch made bagel and to have a microwaved egg sandwich is just a a shame. How easy is it to have an electric stove to fry up some eggs and breakfast meat. Again just a shame for such a great bagel.

A little gem in Nashua. Amazing bagels along with an amazing selection of options to top them with. Wether it be your typical bagel and cream cheese or specialty sandwich, you won’t be disappointed. I can’t get enough of the onion bagel with sliced nova lox.

Bagel Alley, a Nashua original. Bagels are awesome, along with bagel concoctions. Green mtn coffee with refills for 25 cents! Lox, homemade cookies and muffins! Small but cozy, well worth a visit!

I really wanted to like this place. A good friend of mine gave it a glowing review. Unfortunately I had the worst egg sandwich I’ve ever had there this morning. The egg and bacon were were dry and rubbery. I don’t know what happened to the bagel. It was dry and felt like it had been microwaved. The combination was not edible. On a good note the coffee was very good. I’ll be back and will try something else. Just two stars at this point though.

Bagel Alley has supplied breakfast for a number of our events. Every time, the bagels, lox, cream cheeses, tomatoes, onions, and capers are exceptional in quality, freshness, and variety(including an interesting assortment of cream cheeses). And, they never stint on the quantity per person. Customer service is outstanding, and participants always rave about the breakfast! Definitely a great resource for breakfast for a small party at the restaurant or for larger gatherings.

I want to like this more but for me it needs an upgrade. It’s a bit dark when you go inside and the breakfast sandwiches are ok but nothing special. The bagels are usually hard and dry when I’ve gone so I must be hitting this pace at the wrong times. They’re not stale but certainly not the best I’ve had.

This one star review focuses on one very important aspect of any retailer’s business — adequate inventory. While Bagel Alley may make the best bagels in the Nashua, NH area, I am really tired of showing up at a reasonable hour on Sunday morning to find that many of the bins are completely empty. I personally like their whole grain bagels. I have literally had the same experience three times in a row over the past month or two. I live over 20 minutes away so making the commitment to drive to their store is not to be taken lightly. I planned my shopping today to get there in the morning and expected to find a decent supply this time. But today was no better than the past few visits. So it is time to call out the management to find a way to have sufficient inventory on hand or they will lose me as a customer despite the goodness of the product.

I’m a huge fan of receiving a hockey puck sized block of cream cheese in my bagel, so this place never disappoints. Their sandwiches are pretty good as well. They look ENORMOUS, but then I remember the contents are being piled upon a relatively small platform, so naturally there’s nowhere to go but up. They can be awkward to eat, but it’s worth the fight. I was informed that they don’t carry sprouts anymore, which I find odd as that’s a common topping for bagels, but I can survive with their other vegetable offerings, which are very fresh and crisp every time I go. Their pickles are the best half sours that I have ever had. I always ask for extra. I enjoy this place every time. Good stuff.

I love the bagels with lox here! One of the only places in the area that I know of, that serves authentic style lox. Fresh smoked salmon(lox) cream cheese, tomato, onion and capers on a fresh bagel, so good! They also have lox cream cheese spread. Also great for take out bagels and take out cream cheese. The breakfast and lunch bagel sandwiches also look yummy! Just remember to bring cash, they do not take credit or debit cards.

I had been getting Bagels there for FAR longer than I’d prefer admitting *cough!*(late 80’s) and their quality has dropped like a rock. After living out of the area in a «bagel less» wilderness for several years. I literally was dreaming of a Bagel Alley bagel upon my return. The disappointment ALMOST filled the gaping air holes in the product I received. Have they switched to selling croissants? There is supposed to be a density to a good bagel and this bread like abomination wasn’t even close. The veggie cream cheese was decently mixed and almost made up for the shortcomings of its transport. Almost. The ONLY reason it has 2 instead of 1 star is their other baked offerings. A better oatmeal cookie I’ve yet to find. For Nashua, they are probably still decent bagel wise, but if you have the option. Drive to Lowell and hit up somewhere else.

Great fresh bagels and tasty cream cheese. Nice lunch sandwiches, too. For breakfast, I love the spinach & herb bagel with olive cream cheese, my lunch pick is the sesame bagel with lox, veggie cream cheese, capers and tomato. Prices are completely reasonable for what you get. While the food is consistently great, once in a while service is less than stellar and you’re left waiting for no apparent reason. I usually get my food to go, as the inside is small and dark — limited seating, lots of paneling and no windows.
