I went here once with a couple other people. My sandwich was gross, and everyone elses was just ok. Since Nashua Garden is across main street from this shop, I would skip this place and just go there.

The take-out menu says«Good Food, Fast Service and Reasonable Prices, Since 1985». I agree. I stop here for a take-out sandwich when in the downtown area(near the library) and it never disappoints. The sandwiches include a tasty pickle and small bag of chips for about $ 6. They are NY style and are good size, but don’t expect over-the-top over-stuffed versions made famous by old school NYC delis. They’ve been in business for over 25 years and I think the owner has made every sandwich in that time. That’s a lot of sandwiches! If you also want soup to go, I recommend Collins Brothers, which is about ½ mile away, heading away from Main St.

Good hole in the wall joint I used to frequent a lot when in Nashua. The sandwiches are savory and well portioned. A real pickle is always a sign of a good deli sandwich. Ron is a true deli character and pretty much runs the whole show. Don’t be wishy washy and slow ordering during prime time, and he won’t be grouchy. I suggest the 1st Ave. or the Big Bird. Reuben is awesome too. And although it’s not on the menu, he’ll occasionally have Israeli Couscous that you’d be sorry you didn’t pick up. Ron does it right. Support your local deli!
