Have had several tune ups and was so impressed that I have all my work done there now. Garabed is about as good as they come. He has higher standards than I’ve ever seen. I highly recommend Freewheel Bicycles.

I was looking to see who we should have service our bikes that both of us now commute to work with and do city errands and I know now it will not be here. It was one thing to not look up from work when I walked in, but to not look up once while I walked across small store to counter and waited with broken part in hand until I finally said hi, then sighed and when seeing I had a child turned that frown into a look of horror. Wanted to know if would work on our cargo box bike that we haul kids and groceries in and wanted to know if had any experience with electric assist as that bike replaces a car and when loaded want to use on hills and long distance daily not with dread. — reply why would one do that. From owner who drives a terrible gas mileage «Smart» car, besmirching getting 95% of power from legs to haul stuff. So no if you want electric assist, no if you are into cargo bikes, no if you have a child, no if you are a city rider, no if planning on daily commuting, and no if you expect to be dealt with minimal civility. Oh, the simple repair was done fine, on time and reasonable price. You might have a different experience if you bring in a race bike hopefully, and maybe it was two off days and just didn’t like me, my wife or my child, might like you.

Great shop. Garabed talks straight with you, does quality work, and turns it around really quick.

Brought a 20 year old hybrid to see whether I could convert to street use, or I should start over. I got an honest assessment and reasonable quote. Garabed gave me some free advice on things I could do myself.
When I brought it in for the work he did the work for less than the original quote. And fast! 1 day turnaround.
I’ve also had him work on my road bike and experienced the same fast turnaround, free advice and quality work.
He goes out of his way to keep the costs down.
If only I could find a similar car mechanic!!!

I brought in my ten year old Softride for a complete overhaul
and they kindly suggested the most cost effective group
components to get it working again and saved me a
substantial amount of money. Frankly it works better
now than when the bike was new.
I liked the repairs so much I brought in my Cannodale and
they turned it around in a single day.

These guys are amazing! Garabed interviewed me to make sure he knew my riding style and preferences before overhauling my brand new cross bike. He offered well thought out advise and worked with me on the fit for as long as I needed. This guy is a former engineer and veteran cross racer. His partner is the guy who custom builds the wheels. I will not stray fromm this cycle shop while I live in NH.

This is a new bicycle repair shop in the downtown area, staffed by two professionals, with years of experience in the field. I talked to the owner about his business model, and it is, quite simply, «be more professional, knowledgeable and reasonably priced than anyone else in the area». I can tell, from personal experience, they succeeded beyond all my expectations. My bike has never run so smoothly, and my tune-​up cost was less than half the price of the other repair shops in town, and that price included new brake cables!
I have a very low end bike, which they were happy to fix (and warn me that I might only have another year before the costs of replacement parts exceeded the value of my bike– which I would rather hear straight-​up, instead of having a place milk me for repairs); however, they also do high-​end bikes and custom built parts. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience at this place.
