The Beer Store

The Beer Store is run by people who really know beer. They have an amazing staff who are willing to answer any question that you may have. A lot of the staff are home brewers themselves and I believe they have a home brew program. The best feature is their pick your own 6 pack which allows you try a lot of different beers.

Guys, in a nutshell, GO HERE. This place is great. The selection is unreal and the staff are knowledgeable. There was a young woman working and she was very nice and gave great suggestions. They also special order kegs, and have a few in stock.
Parking is easy and they took credit cards. You can buy singles, so you can get a taste of many different kinds without committing to a full package.

Attempted to call here to find out if they carried a certain product. The rude idiot on the phone who I presume must own the place by his utter confidence in his job security, (named Chris) said rudely «out of stock» and hung up the phone. When I tried to call back to ask a follow up, he went the even more uselessly lazy route of not picking up. Well at least I have one place I never need to worry about spending money in. It’s important to look at the bright side.

When we moved to Nashua, we were looking for a good place to buy beer and we found it! The Beer Store has an amazing selection in a relatively small footprint. We visit the store frequently to make mix-​6 packs to try all kinds of new beer from across the country or imports. Awesome variety. Awesome owners. Awesome beer.

If this store didn’t exist someone would have to invent it. Fantastic selection, friendly and helpful staff. I visit weekly and look forward to their specials.

Best in New Hampshire. no slight on Bert’s either, just gets the nod because it’s closer for me.
Excellent service, quality and selection. my only problem being the distribution laws in NH. This should be your only beer stop in town, period. Keep an eye on the FB page for tastings and harder to find releases. They do sell kegs, hot sauces, and artisan sodas as well to compliment the awesome beers selections.

Really cool place with a great variety of beers to try. You can mix and match your own 4 or 6 packs which is really neat because you get the chance to try some new beers along with buying a favorite kind to take home. The staff is super laid back and nice. When I was there they seemed to have unique beers along with popular seasonal favorites. I remember there being a lot of Shipyard pumpkinhead along with some other local brands. The place look small but the selection is huge.

For such a small space they have an unbelievable selection. I like that you can mix and match your 6 pack, with literally anything. I asked for a specific foreign beer hoping they’d have it, they didn’t but offered to order it for me!!! The staff is very helpful and friendly without being pushy! Love this place!

Great selection and helpful staff. They have as good a selection as Craft Beer Store in Belmont.
I didn’t expect much. Stopped by on a lark and was wowed. There isn’t any BMC in the place either domestic or imported. A huge plus they make sure they rotate and move their stock.
First thing I saw was Sierra Nevada DevESTATIONion on sale. They had a lot and wanted to move it while it was still fresh. Then next to the check out they have a clearance rack, again moving out beers BEFORE their enjoy be date.
The staff were very helpful and welcoming. They offered to hold your selections while you shopped. They explained why they had items of sale without any BS. Any they offered other selections based no what you already had in your basket.
I wish I lived closer and I’d be a regular but a lot poorer.

Unbelievable selection, lots of seasonal, craft, and imported items.
Friendly staff that are always willing to help you find what you are looking for even if you only have a few details to provide them with. You don’t have to speak a special «beer geek» language here, the guys and gals that run this place speak fluent average Joe. I have asked for «a beer like this one but hoppier» or «a beer from Maine with Coal in the name» and they are able to translate my mumblings and reply with an option or two.
Check them out and try something new!
They also have kegs and even a section of face melting hot sauces.

This place has all of my favorite brews and then some. I love the option of creating my own 6 pack and these guys are incredibly knowledgable when it comes to beer. They are always at the ready to answer questions and make suggestions.

Awesome, awesome store. They have hundreds of varieties of beer from all over the US and the world, ALL of them available for purchase by the bottle. They have a bin at the front with empty cardboard 6 pack holders that you can fill up with mix and matched beers.
You’ll spend a little more than you would at the grocery store, but you’ll only find a tiny fraction of the beer selection at the grocers compared to this place. It’s fun to drink beer now, because I buy a bunch at once and then I always have something new to try in the fridge.

Great Place. Awesome beer selection of local and not-​so-​local micro brew’s. If they don’t have the beer your looking for — they can recommend something very remarkable. If you enjoy good beer this will be like a candy store for you!

Always a Great experience! These guys (and girls) are very knowledgeable. The prices are very reasonable even on the hard to find products! This place has a great variety of beer and if your looking for some great local brews this is the place to go!

I could keep making this list, but then I would be cutting into your beer drinking time and that is not something I am willing to do.

When I was looking up places in Nashua, I had to bookmark this place and make sure to stop in on my way out. How can you leave a town before visiting their craft beer store with a great selection and all 5-​star reviews?
The Beer Store lived up to the reviews. Impressive selection of beers stacked up on shelves that were much taller than me so I felt like I was surrounded by beers, and everything was well-​organized by type of beer and place of origin. Since I was in New Hampshire, I was happy to see an interesting selection of New Hampshire beers. In terms of New Hampshire beers I probably wouldn’t find in my homestate of Connecticut, I picked up a bottle of Throwback Brewery’s Maple Kissed Wheat Porter, which was wonderful, and a bottle of Candia’s Road Brewing Company’s Nepenthe Ales Nut Brown Ale, which was also good. I also got some imported beers and ciders, and a sour beer for the boyfriend.
Worth stopping in if you’re a fan of beer.

This place it pretty good. From what I’ve been told, it’s easily one of the best craft beer stores in south New Hampshire. They had a good selection of beers that your could mix and match, always my favorite, a few brews I hadn’t seen before, and a good mix of local, domestic, and imports. Not the best selection I’ve seen, but it nice to see the extras, like shirts, glassware and different things, like hot sauce, or mead.
Overall, if you’re in the area, it’s worth stopping in and building a sixer.

FINALLY! A store in MY neck o’ the woods with an excellent selection of craft brews! Yippie-​yi-​aye. I only found out about The Beer Store after having searched Unilocal for bars in the Nashua area that have craft brews on tap.(I’m bored with Martha’s and was disappointed with Stella Blu’s the other night.) I’ve driven past the little strip mall where The Beer Store is but never noticed it… nor would I’ve guessed it’d be there. The proprietor, here, is a very nice fellow and knows his product. This will definitely be my go-​to beer place and I won’t have to drive all the way to Colonial Spirits or Redstone’s, anymore. AND, the way he’s got the brewskies organized in the coolers i.e. singles and six-​packs is great!
Yay! Yay! Yay!
P. S. He also clued me into The Garden over on Main Street in Nashua. I always assumed it was a crappy sports bar that served the usual Bud, Coors and other crap. Evidently, I am seriously mistaken! Thank you jesus!

Boy does this place live up to its name.
I’ve been to a lot of liquor stores that have huge beer selections, but none that were quite as well organized with such a wide variety as these guys. I also liked that they had almost all of the selections available both chilled and at room temp. So you could go either way. Of course they offer singles which is always a nice touch when you want to try something new.
I also really appreciated that the staff actually knew what they were talking about. They were able to offer me some good suggestions and on the couple beers the guy hadn’t tried yet he admitted to it. I love that honesty. I hate when someone at tries to tell me what is like and its only because they read the description somewhere.
Prices were low compared to many other places in MA that have similar selection. I have not found another place in NH that has a selection anything like they have. So do yourself a favor and go check this place out if you like beer.

There are room temp and fridged versions of everything.
Prices are competitive with local liquor stores. The past few years I work across from the Liquor Store in Tyngsboro, MA, which has similarly valued goods. Beer Store has everything at about the same price minus the tax.
Up until recently, the website issues hours with an ‘ish’ at the end. This is interpreted to mean that if there is reason to stay open a little later or close a bit sooner than that then this is reasonable, a mark of true entrepreneurship.
Friday nights are the busiest nights. One will see the crowds file in on queue and it is interesting to think that in New Hampshire just months ago there is no place like this. Until now, one would see these people dispersed in the aisles of a Cumberland Farms or a Seven Eleven. I think about these people this way and it makes me smile. Here is a safe place for people to truly think about what they are about to drink or share among friends the meaningful experience of imbibing.
