History

Established in 2001.

J. Jill Qualls Baxter started practicing law in Franklin, Tennessee at Story & Abernathy, moving her practice in 2002 to Cheatham, Palermo and Garrett. In 2008, Jill decided to join her husband, Danny J. Baxter, in practice and joined Baxter Law Office, P.C. In 2014, the name was changed to Baxter & Baxter, PLLC.

Business Owner

Jill is a graduate of the University of Tennessee where she received her degree in Accounting in 1991. She worked with the Comptroller for the State of Tennessee as an auditor before becoming a deputy clerk with the Chancery Court of Williamson County while in law school. Jill graduated from Nashville School of Law in 2000 and began practicing law in May 2001. In the Clerk’s office, Jill had the pleasure of working closely with several different Judges, some of whom sit on the Tennessee Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. Also, Jill had the pleasure of working with Rose Palermo for many years and was exposed to representing several country music entertainers or songwriters. Jill has children and enjoys helping to coach youth sports and attends Hermitage United Methodist Church where she and her husband are members.
