There are better, more professional places to do business with, who have similar or better products at more competitive prices. McCalls Carpet One mis-​measured, mis-​quoted, were late to the job every day (by more than an hour), and smoked at our house. When I asked for consideration for the lateness I was told, «No, if they were billed every time they were late they wouldn’t have jobs». The finished product is not worth the hassle, or the extra $ 300 (20% of the total cost) that was misquoted to us. Especially for just a ~100 square foot job. Skip them and find a better place that gives consistent, realistic, estimates, shows up on time, measures properly, and treats your home with respect.

I have carpet and hardwood installed by them. The hardwood was installed perfectly. Because I used to install carpet, I am a little picky. I give the installer a B+. Approx. One month after the last install, the owner came by and wanted to know if there were any problems and if their were to call him personally. That is the way to run a business. Nothing like local family run businesses for great service and attention.
