This is our go to place near our house! The people are so friendly and the food is great! Love their tamale’s, chicken tortilla soup, ceviche, taco salads.. . pretty much everything! They also have some good happy hour specials and now a great outdoor seating area. Great place, great people, great food!

The food is always on-point and the service is as it should be: not to intrusive, but always there when you need something. The wait staff seems to work well together and you never get the ‘let me get your server’ thing when you ask someone else for something(which I hate). Choices are broad, but not overwhelming. Menus are descriptive and have good photos for common(and not so common) dishes. Location is good and parking is convenient.

Solid Mexican food here. I’m never disappointed but never blown away either. Some decent vegetarian food options here as well. The food is very Americanized Mexican food like what you might get at las palmas etc. The portions are always large and the service has been good for the most part. Would be awesome if people were not allowed to smoke on the patio.

This is such a nice little restaurant and great place to meet up for dinner and drinks. We live right across the street and we’ve never had an issue other than when they are super slammed. When they get that busy then the service starts to become less and further in between, not really their fault, just kinda unfortunate at times. Otherwise their food is amazing, I get the chile verde carnitas almost every time with an order of their chorizo queso, sooooo good. There may be more authentic places out there, but for something friendly and easy, go here.

Solid Mexican food, and even at the busiest times usually not more than a 10 minute wait. The weekday drink specials are great, and the margaritas are strong. Would recommend.

El Sombrero is a solid place to eat in Lenox Village. The margaritas are flavorful, the service is excellent, and the food is yummy. I went for lunch on a Saturday and had a Mango Margarita on the rocks for under $ 5. Needless to say, I took a nap shortly afterwards. I have had some overly salty food at times, but other than that I have enjoyed everything I have ordered. I like that they have a vegetarian menu, a seafood menu, and items not typically offered at a Mexican restaurant. They are in the Camino Real restaurant group of which I am NOT a fan, but El Sombrero tastes better. Great for to-go.

Really good food. Typical mexican restaurant offerings. Service was a bit slow, but I was eating by myself so maybe the server just didn’t pay that much attention.

This place is super-popular(don’t try to go on a Friday night, or you’ll be waiting outside for a while…), but my husband and I weren’t that impressed. The food is fine, but there are a ton of great Mexican places along Nolensville that have more authentic food for lower prices(if you don’t want to go far, Fogatas at the corner of Old Hickory and Nolensville is one of our favorites). While it’s not bad, I think the appeal here has to be the location in Lenox Village. We’ve eaten here several times because we live in Lenox Village and sometimes we get lazy, but it’s never been a «wow» food experience. In fact, the one time I made the mistake of ordering a salad, I was sorely disappointed by the iceberg lettuce with one unripe tomato and raw onion slices that I received. Granted, one doesn’t go to Mexican restaurants for a salad, but the traditional Mexican food there never stood out from Las Palmas or any other Americanized Mexican chains. Drive a bit further down Nolensville; there may not be a patio, but you’ll get more authentic food at lower prices!

Excellent Mexican Food! The Filet Tampiueno(tilapia) is great and so are the fajitas. Also, try the guacamole casero as an appetizer. It is my all-time favorite!

Excellent! I can honestly say that this by far has to be some of the best Mexican food in the Nashville area! I decided to come to this place with my cousin and friends while visiting here in Nashville! After being recommended this restaurant I of course had to come to Unilocal and check the reviews and look at the pictures! I knew before arriving that’s pitcher of the top shelf margaritas and the sizzling fajitas was going to be ordered! Upon arriving, my party of 4 was promptly greeted and escorted to the outside patio! It was a beautiful night last night so we figured why not? The waiter we had was extremely friendly as well as very informative of the menu! Even after his recommendations I was still sold on my margaritas and sizzling fajitas!

I was here very long time when I visited TN for three months. I’m surprised that I still remember the name and place. I remember that food was great and I enjoyed every meal I had here

Thick chips, puréed salsa. Fajitas were tasteless. The staff was nice but I was not impressed.

They have really great food. I love their quesadillas and their salsa. It can be pretty busy(like most restaurants in the area) around lunch and dinner. They’re pretty quick about rolling people in and out, though. They have some of the best beans and rice, too.

I must say I have had many types of mexcian food but this place right here is just great. This is the best mexican food I have had too bad I don’t live in the Nashville area tho. Got the special of the day. Food was seasoned perfectly! The cheese dip was just amazing… Not to add they have free wifi

As always, we sat at the bar and like most Mexican restaurants, you never know who is waiting on your when you sit it at the bar. Regardless, everyone we came into contact with was very pleasant! The chips and salsa were good… nothing to write home about, but no complaints. I wish I could remember what else we had for dinner, but I can’t because it was about a month ago. Either way, it came out SUPER fast(in case you want to relax and have a drink before dinner, keep that in mind). The quality of the food was good, fresh and very hot, but not very exciting.
