History

Established in 2013.

The owner of Faux Glow Mobile Spray Tanning grew up in the beautiful, sunny state of Florida. She always longed to have a golden savage tan like her friends and loved the sun. However, her red hair & fair complexion did not love it back. After many years of sunburns, freckles,& tanning beds,& only after she started working for a very well known Medical skincare company, did she realize the journey for the perfect tan was only causing harm to her skin & body. She has since spent countless time & money trying to reverse the damage and premature aging that was caused by the harmful UV rays. Her desire for the perfect tan never left her, so she began getting spray tans and realized the perfect tan can be achieved with the correct spray tan artist and the correct spray tan solutions. After much research and plenty of streaked and orangy spray tans, she realized that there were many other people just like her that wanted to achieve the perfect sunless tan and thus Faux Glow was born!

Shannon has worked in the heathcare field for 16 years, primarily in medical and pharmaceutical sales roles. Afer working with an internationally recognized Cosemeceutical Company and learning the dangers of UV rays and their harmful effects on the skin and body her passion grew for sunless tanning. After the birth of her child, she longed to be a business owner herself, but not just any business; she wanted to make an impact on others. She wanted a business that could could save lives, as well as bring a service to people that made them feel better about themselves and brought them joy and happiness. Because of her family history of skin cancer and her love of spray tans, Faux Glow was born in 2013.
