He is the best doctor I ever had. I worry about the day he retires. He even has come to my house on two occasions when I was really sick! Thats unheard of these days!

Amazing doctor. Not a pill pusher like most. Highly recommended.

*sigh* pains me to do this Couple of months ago I went in, one of the things I had was a small wart that had popped up. I asked if he thought he could remove it and mentioned he’d tried the freezing before on something else and it didn’t work. He asked me what I did last time and I said I went over to Bell Meade Dermatology and they just sliced it off. He said if this didn’t work I would have to try it again. He messed up putting the little cone around the thing — it’s supposed to form a perfect seal, and it didn’t. Freezing cold stuff takes out about 1 sq cm of flesh on the side of my finger, turns the otherwise meh wart thingie into SUPERWART. Turns my finger useless for anything for the next week(typing sucked). I get a bill a month ago for nearly $ 150 for this procedure, which was more expensive than what I paid for something that worked at Bell Meade Dermatology. I call to ask about a refund or a discount, his answering service says he’s out, call back in 20, I call back an hour later and get a fast busy. I call the next day, fast busy, later answering service saying he’s out to lunch, call back later. Repeat 2 more days. Finally answering service tells me he’s been on vacation… ok… great… Call the next week when they’re back in, ask for an adjustment, am told they’ll speak with him and give my number for them to call back. Never heard anything. Got another bill a month later, same thing, call back, they’re out, call the next day, got them on a day off, and finally called today getting them… am told the doc won’t refund the charge as sometimes it takes more than one treatment, which at 150 a pop for something that can be done with an upside down can of air and well-placed duct tape is insane. I go ahead and pay, she says I can pay as little as I need to per month, that’s not the issue… I paid well in excess of the value of the services rendered… I get back home and there’s another bill referencing services rendered in 2002 – 2010 that evidently regards an appointment 8 months ago. I really love this doctor, but there’s a wall there and it’s impossible to get to talk to him any more, I don’t think he’s the kind of guy to charge $ 150 for something that didn’t do anything and screwed up my finger for a week, but you know what, until I have another appointment with him it’s all a relay-this-message-wait-a-week sort of deal. I think he’s just so busy now that anything not in the exam room becomes insanely impersonal, carbon copied, etc. Think I’m going to have to go doc shopping though it pains me to do so… the $ 150 isn’t the issue, it’s the phone wall, the week-out scheduling when you’re sick, the inability communicate by modern methods(I had to fax him a sheet of questions and concerns I had once) etc.
