Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting

My husband is very OCD and everything has to be perfect. He got multiple bids and then went to Maaco on Foster. He ended up spending what I thought was a lot more than he than we wanted to spend and at first I was not happy. BUT OMG the paint job is amazing! He picked a newer Nissan metallic color and did a complete color change including all the jams. It transformed our vehicle! And I am sure he wore them but they delivered. This auto body shop must be recognized as top notch because i bet he went down there four or five times and a few times after they finished to fine tune it. It came back today detailed out and perfect. Thanks guys! Awesome job!

I took my car in for an estimate on Friday, dropped it off on Monday an it was ready on Thursday as promised. The quality of work was excellent and the price was less than the estimate. Great service and value. I plan on taking another vehicle to Maaco of Nashville soon.

I have a 21 year old car with 100,000 miles. Didn’t want to spend alot. Got the estimate and time allotment. Both were correct. When I got home, I saw that my bumper had some spots so I called to tell them that I was 95% happy. Told Jody about the spots and he told me to bring my car at my convenience and they would make it 100% satisfaction. I did and they buffed the spots out— my car looks brand new! Excellent work!

Brought automobile to maaco for strictly cosmetic damage. When (according to them) complete, not only had they installed the wrong fender but there were parts disassembled in the engine, items stolen from our trunk (tire, jack, and first aid kit), and the parts were not fitting properly cosmetically. After giving them several chances to fix the issues over the course of a year, all we accomplished was more damage and worse paint results. They had even damaged an area that they were not supposed to touch and tried to cover it up! We gave them a chance to fix that and the work was sloppy (over sprayed onto the windshield and headlight) and we left with a different color door and more damage. Maaco was a nightmare! My car is still having issues and is ruined cosmetically. If you value your vehicle and bank account stay away from Maaco.

This is not only the worst mechanic that I have ever been to, but it is also the worst establishment of any kind that I have ever done business with. For starters, I dropped my car off in April and it was over a week before anyone even looked at it or gave me a price. It took us calling and saying that we were going to take it somewhere else for them to start on it. However, we did decide to go ahead and let them do the work on it. It took weeks for them to do anything. We eventually had to call every day to check on them and see if anything was being done. When it was finally finished after four weeks, it got even worse. We got there and we asked if we could test drive it first, and they were irate! We even asked if we could do it if one of them went along. They started yelling and cussing at us, and treated us like we were thieves. I, personally was going to stay behind, so it’s not like we were going to drive off and not pay. So we paid them first and drove it up and down the street and everything seemed fine. I listened as the workers bad mouthed us the whole time my husband was gone, and then the yelling continued when my husband got back with the car. He didn’t yell back once and even complemented them on their work. We were still treated poorly even after that. He continued to cuss at us. I had to start laughing because I could not believe we were being treated this way. I understand now why they wouldn’t let us test drive it first. The work they did is so messed up now that I can hardly drive the car. The rear end pops and grinds like crazy. They are such a joke. We will be doing everything we can to speak out against them. We are also talking to our lawyers. Please avoid this place at all costs.

If you need body work ~ try Maaco. I do know the owner, but sense that every customer is treated fairly. The work was priced right, done right and delivered earlier than anticipated. These guys were really great to me and my car. I had to return for a tire that didn’t come in in time, but instead of leaving it there ~ I chose to come back for that portion of it. There was one nitpicky thing that I wanted checked out a little further and when I returned to pick it up… it was PERFECT, no questions asked.
