Mindub

My wife and I found Tim on Thumbtack while we were looking for DJs for our wedding in Nashville, and of the people who reached out he seemed the most experienced of the bunch. Since I was charged with finding the DJ, I spent a lot of time reading reviews and looking into the backgrounds of the different options. Tim’s track record was spectacular, which was really important.
Tim really lived up to the reviews and then some. Before the wedding, he was very helpful in guiding us through planning and song selection. He even made some remixes of songs for the Mother/​Son and Father/​Daughter dance, which ended up great. As with most big events, we also had some last minute SNAFUs, and he adjusted wonderfully on the fly. The music for the wedding itself was wonderful. He had the dance floor full the whole time, and was able to play songs that appealed to all the guests from our 20-​something college friends to the grandparents.
After the wedding, we got many compliments on the quality of the music and how well the night went. It was really perfect, and Tim was a huge part of it!

Tim is amazing! He DJd our 4^th of July wedding and truly turned our wedding into a party. Not only did he balance the completely different music preferences of my husband and me, but he also did it in a way that everyone complimented our music all night long. We also had the photo booth which was hugely successful and a complete hit with our guests. Tim was not feeling well that night and neither my husband or I knew until after the event when my wedding planner told me. Tim was truly professional and didn’t let it effect how he performed.
Out of all of my wedding costs, Tim was the best value for the money and I would not hesitate to hire him again the future. I can’t imagine working with anyone else. Go with Tim– you will not regret it!

To keep it short, Tim was amazing! We have all been to weddings where no one dances and know how big of a bummer that is. Our wedding with Tim behind the controls was a dance party! Friends told us it was one of the best wedding they had ever been to. Tim was great to work with and really easy to communicate with. Friends, family, and YOU will be happy to make Tim your DJ!

We were referred to Tim as a wedding DJ by some family members who had used him at their wedding. We met with him a few days before our wedding at a local coffee house (Ugly Mugs) to discuss some music ideas. Wedding planning can be very stressful and we were very stressed that week to say the least.
Tim immediately made us laugh and feel comfortable. I knew within the first few seconds of meeting him that he was the right choice. He has a passion and talent for music and helping people. We really enjoyed pitching different music ideas around with him and just chatting about life in general.
The wedding reception went perfectly. It was a beautiful night and Tim’s music selections kept the celebration going strong.
If he’s available for your event then I would stop looking because you found the best DJ in Nashville.

As a «retired» event planner myself, I must say that music is the soul of an event. Whether it be a night out at a club or something as special and intimate as your wedding day. Mindub (Tim) brought that soul to our wedding night like no other.
Initially wanting to clone Tim for our own wedding, so that he could be our photographer AND our DJ, we decided that may be quite difficult and hired him as our DJ. No regrets here! His communication through the planning process was great. My favorite was that as soon as we sat down to go over the big day all he wanted to know was about us and how we met. Instead of just playing what he thought we wanted to hear he was truly interested in making the soundtrack of our lives for our wedding night. From dinner to MC’ing to dancing it was perfection.
I do recall myself (never (ever) claiming to be much of a dancer) on the dance floor the entire night and shedding quite a bit of tears as the last song was playing, not wanting the night to be over. Mindub has such class when closing out the night which can always be such an abrupt act as well as a necessary one to get people to move along. :) His tact is much appreciated.
I strongly recommend Mindub’s services from DJ to Photographer again and again and again and again…(you get my point).

No. Joke.
I must preface that Mindub has been a Unilocaly DJ/​entertainment sponsor at our inaugural Unilocal Helps event last November and will also be offering his DJ and also photography services again for Unilocal Helps in a few weeks. I have also worked with him professionally fir Nashville Fashion Week as well. This fella is versatile!
So to be fair, I won’t review my experiences at those events or with our business dealings but instead on other events that he has been a part of. Ready? Let’s go.
Most recently, I was really impressed when Tim/​Mindub set up at the Suzy Wong Garden Party that my friend Arnold and I planned. He was professional, friendly, and just always seemed to know what tune «just needed» to be played next. He does a great job of playing to the theme of events and with this being a fundraiser for the Ms. Gay America Pageant, dance music was what got the party started. Even as the requests became sillier after the drinks were a flowin’, he still kept his charm and enthusiasm and is just all around a really nice guy.
You have probably popped into a Mindub or DubChek photobooth too if you have been to recent event produced by the Nashville Scene… his photobooth setup is always a lot of fun and the pictures always come out great and as damning evidence on how much fun you were really having too! Most recently at the Sounds Like Summer concert series, my friends and I literally photo-​bombed his booth which resulted in some of the most funny and memory enhancing pictures that I have taken in a long time. Tim and his partner both just make the experience.
Lastly, he also offers a full range of photography services too. This fella may be the Jack of all trades, right?
I would definitely recommend his services to anyone planning an event or if you need some professional photography work completed.
