We are pleased to offer exceptional eye care in two convenient locations: Belle Meade Hill Center, and Hendersonville. In addition to comprehensive eye health examinations, specialty contact lenses, and the latest selection of eye-​wear, our Belle Meade practice provides a variety of services including Low Vision Therapy and Vision Rehab.

Established in 1976.

We provide comprehensive eye exams for the entire family. Our contact lens exams and fittings include soft lenses, hard lenses, and specialty lenses. We treat medical conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinitis pigmentosa, and hypertensive retinopathy as well as infections and injuries. We specialize in vision therapy and low vision.

Business Owner

Dr. Richard Durocher, a life-​long Middle Tennessee resident, is committed to providing excellence in eye care and enhancing the quality of life for not just his own patients, but patients everywhere by helping to develop new products and procedures.

For nearly two decades, Dr. Durocher has been heavily involved in clinical research for a number of related eye care topics, including ocular surface disease, contact lenses, and contact lens care systems. His expertise and studies have created demand for his lectures on eye care products on an international scale. He has previously served as president for the state association of optometric physicians and authored numerous published articles for medical journals. Highly respected among his peers, Dr. Durocher received the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians’ Optometrist of the Year award in 2011.
