A cute store with some very interesting wares.
Cute clothing, jewelry, knick-​knacks, weird inflatable things to put on your cat’s head.
Certainly fun to look around.

When I said I needed to Christmas shop this was one of the 2 stores, my local friends suggested and it’s a great eclectic store. I bought beaucoup presents here from novelty socks to housewares to a Day of the Dead figurine.
The staff varied from helpful to indifferent and the store was well laid out, although it’s chockful so it makes moving around a bit tough, especially if the store is crowded like it was the day I was there.
My niece tried on a bunch of clothes and while the sizing was a bit irregular (as one would expect in a shop like this), there were some really different styles especially if you want something different than mallware.

I love the feel of this store, don’t get me wrong. However, $ 56 for a simple a-​line skirt is a bit steep. I understand this is a boutique store with niche pricing, but for neighborhood so close to the Vanderbilt campus, it’s difficult justifying those prices for a student budget. While I love the curated items ranging from beautiful clothing options to a vast, eclectic assortment of jewelry and intricately decorated home furnishing options, I have yet to purchase more than a single barrette here. I think you’ll be able to find similar options on Etsy without breaking the bank. Most customers I see walk in, window shop, then either stroll straight to the jewelry counter or meander to the gift section.
I do recommend checking out their extensive jewelry counter for a few unique finds (including the elusive midi-​rings) and their small sale section in the back in case you’re looking for a more budget-​friendly clothing selection.

What a great shop. Lots of neat gift ideas in here from clothing to home goods. I was in love with all the bedding, rugs, and table cloths. Cute pillows too.
Kind of reminded me of Anthropologie meets Francesca’s Collections.

Eclectic little shop with lots of Mexican and Indian trinkets. They love their Frida — I’ve never seen so much stuff with her image on it. A little overpriced, but you pay for the novelty. Side street parking with meters. It was very busy when we went. You can probably find many of the same items for cheaper elsewhere, but there were also some unusual finds thrown in the mix. I regret that I didn’t buy a couple things I saw there and may have to go back. It’s definitely worth visiting.

I love everything in this store but the staff are genuinely the rudest people I’ve ever encountered in my life. Its actually unreal. Honestly, it’s quite the experience. So you should go and then realize exactly what you don’t want to be like as a human being. I hope none of them have procreated.

This store is so cute! They have an eclectic selection of things to buy and there were so many interesting things that I wanted to buy. I finally settled on a necklace that looked like an old pocket watch and it’s now one of my favorite wardrobe staples. Got it at a great price too! Staff was super helpful! I’ll be sure to come back here the next time I’m in Nashville!

Some interesting things in here. Very cramped space however and pretty overpriced. Nothing blew me away but if I loved locally I would stop in now and again.

I shop for friend gifts exclusively at Pangaea. Not only do I always find something perfect for them, but I find at least 7 things for myself…
The girls working there are always super nice. They offer excellent gift wrapping and today they were playing my favorite band. ‘Nuff said.

This «tag-​sale» oriented store has some of the tackiest jewelry I’ve ever seen, and the most cliché «international» trinkets on the market. Nothing I haven’t seen before and certainly easy to buy off Amazon or the internet at a cheaper rate.
But let’s forget about the merchandise for a second. The owner and her staff are unfriendly. They do not care if you come or go; if you’re satisfied or not. Literally, all they care about is taking your money. The store makes you believe that it is about love and warmth. On the contrary. There is NO love coming from the staff or their products (which by the way, the owner will not disclose as to where she gets them from). Pretty sketchy. But don’t worry guys, I did the research on the products myself. Most of the stuff comes from China. Over-​priced items you could buy literally anywhere else with dignity. In NYC, this stuff goes for half the price and sold on the street. The same streets that knock-​off handbags are sold. It’s ridiculous.
The service at this store is non-​existent. The store itself is crowded, claustrophobic and messy.
The bottom line: there are shop owners and employees out there that work really hard to be accommodating and to make their customers comfortable and happy. Not at Pangea. What a disappointment to the area and Nashville as a whole. All around bad vibes, bad feng shui and even worse management.

We went here thinking it would have unique items. It didn’t. Every single item in this cramped store can be bought from India on Amazon with free shipping. Jewelry is cheap, mass-​produced tin junk.
Pangea is Greek for «all continents». Most of this merchandise is from India or Mexico, and not well-​made. It is extremely over-​priced,
If you like paying more than double for poorly-​made stuff and be treated rudely by the cold staff (and totally unwelcoming owner, which is where the attitude emanates from) do go. She doesn’t give a damn one way or another.

Nice quirky little shop to find Anthropologie-​esque items for a fair price. It’s a nice place to stop in for gifts as they wrap your items really nicely in a Pangaea bag with colored tissue paper and tassel-​like strings.
Beware: It’s EXTREMELY cramped walking room wise… you’ll pretty much be the bane of everyone’s existence if you walk in with a stroller. Seriously.

Cute, funky, eclectic and quirky shop. This is a cool place to pop into any time you need a gift for someone. It has a nice variety of items like jewelry, clothing, soaps and oils etc. It’s very hippie chic. You’ll find neat Nashville inspired items as well as plenty of other things. Wallets, purses, scarves and more.
Some things feel a little over priced, but I understand you have to charge a little more when you’re a small shop like that.

Noël and I was on our way to the Belcourt Theater and was killing some time. We found this little shop on the corner. It reminded me of a store I shop at in Chattanooga, TN, called «All Things Groovy»…this reminds me of Groovy Hippie style shop.
There is a lot of hipster items in the store. Everything is tie dyed and bringing peace… some interesting clothing and accessories. Some really nice wall hangings and chimes. Various throw pillows for your home. It also reminds me of «Earthbound» in the mall. i would say I am a fan of this store. I didn’t purchase anything in here today, not saying I wouldn’t next time I shop. Only real reason was I just spent over $ 50 down the street at the book store and was on my way to the movie theater. next time I want to spend ali ttle more time exploring. I was a little rushed due to my movie starting time.
If you are in the area, check them out. I am a firm believer in supporting the little shop owners. helping them make their business work. I liked this store a lot and I liked the atmosphere in the store. Very nice friendly staff also!!!

My favorite boutique in Nashville hands down. I used to come here regularly when I went to school in Nashville. Located in charming Hillsboro village, they have a mix of clothing, jewelry, books and knick nacks. I always find cute dresses here and most of it is very reasonably priced. Wish I still had this place in my backyard!

This store reminded me a lot of the shops that I used to visit in back home in Oregon. It has quite a bohemian, hippie feel, which made me feel right at home.
The women in the shop were not overbearing, but if you needed to see something they were ready to show you. They have a variety of knick-​knacks, textiles, a TON of clothes, cards, some great jewelry, and I think I saw some statuary. They have a lot of beautiful silver jewelry here, both rings and earrings, some plain silver, and I also saw amethyst, moonstone, garnet, and other stones. I ended up purchasing a couple pairs of earrings here. You’ll find some great gifts for yourself or someone else here. It’s definitely worth a stop if you’re into fun, funky things, especially if you’re in the neighborhood.

Every time I come back to Nashville I always make time to come into this ultra awesome boutique. Pangaea offers an eclectic selection of decorative products, jewelry, candles and clothing, along with a variety knick knacks. My favorites are the decorative wall crosses and Sacred Hearts, postcards, and ash trays. Oh, who am I kidding; I love everything in this shop and it’s so tough to leave with just one or two items (my suitcase is small on purpose). Last time I was here I bought a set of cast iron owl ash trays and some jewelry.
If you’re ever in the downtown area, a stop by this shop is a must! Try to go during the week when it’s not so crowded because it can get pretty stuffy in here.

Very cute store! I love how eclectic this shop is, where it has funky clothing, gifts, accessories, and home décor items for sale. I like how there is a cushion section with handcrafted designs on them, and little knick-​knacks on the counter by the cashier (keychains, charms, ‘Saints’ mini book (yes, really, check them out), greeting cards, stationery, a cute ‘Map’ book with great illustrations, and the Dia de Los Muertos figurines in the glass casing. A great place to mosey around and pick up cute gifts and/​or to peruse!

Why has it been so long since I popped into Pangaea?
This cozy little haven houses anything from zen buddha statues and incense to Day of the Dead figurines and ethnic housewares to a curated collection of apparel and uniques and sometimes odd curiosities. This is absolutely a fantastic location to purchase a unique and fun gift or to find beautiful trinkets for yourself. If you like interesting coffee table books, this is a lovely spot to stop in and take a peek.
I also really enjoy their selection of funny and one of a kind cards that you won’t find elsewhere too. They seriously put the nearest Hallmark store to shame. Plus, you can find some Nashville-​centric goodies here too.
Prices run the gamut from $ 2 — $ 200+ so there is literally something for everyone here. I picked up a box of Nag Champa incense ($ 3), some astrological sign earrings ($ 11), and a birthday card ($ 4) on this visit but regret not picking up this quirky Dorothy Parker Cocktail Guide for $ 15. I’m heading back to pick it up in a jiffy.
When I first moved to Nashville, I worked in Hillsboro Village so I made frequent visits down to Pangaea and after this last visit, I’m adding it to my rotation!
TIP: There can sometimes be limited street parking but you can find parking lots nearby. I find the most convenient one to be the one across the street from Sunset Grill and behind Village of Flowers or behind Fido.

Pangaea is the world’s most perfect bouqtiue. Clothing, accessories, jewelry household goods, perfumes, books, and so much more. And so affordable!
I purchased a silver bangle bracelet for $ 13. A few others in the $ 9 – 10 range caught my eye as well.
I loved just perusing the store and sprayed some «Damn Sexy» perfume on my wrist. It was a really musky vanilla smell, so I think I smelled more like «damn funky» than anything else. A few clothing items caught my eye, but they seem to cater to the smaller-​sized crowd, which is never surprising in small boutiques.
Pangaea is a must-​visit for any shop-​a-​holic. I try to limit my shopping when on vacation with my husband, so I will pick 2 – 3 boutiques I want to visit, and I’m so glad Pangaea was on my list because it totally satisfied my craving!
