Pet Specialties offers the best in care for your pets while you are away or at the office. We offer daily dog walking and at your home pet sitting services. Whether its vacation, quick business trips, or simply that you can’t get home during the day to walk the pooch, let our trusted handlers come to your home and give your pets the care they deserve. We make as many trips to your home as needed to make sure that your pets are as comfortable as possible during your absence. We currently only handle dogs, cats and fish.

The company’s owner started the business out of his love of animals and a growing need for pet services in the Nashville community.

Business Owner

Jim Rodriguez is the owner and operator of Pet Specialties. He is a native of Nashville and a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University.

He started Pet Specialties in 1999 as a secondary business. His love and passion for animals was a perfect fit for the pet sitting business.

I would tell anyone who wants to get into this business to do your homework, find a local mentor that you trust to advise you and network as much as possible. You will find that most of the pet sitters in your area are more than willing to help you.»

Jim is quite the entrepreneur and when he is not caring for pets, you can find him working on other business projects.
