They did a great job fixing my equipment. They are a bit pricey ($ 88/​hour for labor), so be prepared to spend a fair chunk if you use them.
The $ 88/​hour is more than I pay at a full service garage with ASE certified mechanics and a s-​load of very expensive test and repair equipment. The good news is this means a short wait when a piece of mission critical equipment breaks and you need competent service done quickly.
In short, they offer very competent service but, if you are going for a repair, this is a place where «if you have to ask the price you can’t afford it».
When I have time I will use a small engine repair shop that charges about half the Anessi’s rate. When speed of service is more important than price, it’s back to Anessi’s.

Brought my toro snow blower in for a tune up last year in October (trying to beat the rush). I got a call about 2 weeks later saying it was ready and the total cost was @$ 350. Apparently they decided it needed a bunch of new parts, but never bothered to call and get my approval.
Once the snow started coming down in January, it began losing its power about halfway through the first storm. After the 2^nd or 3^rd storm, it was getting worse and worse so I called to see if they could take a look. I was told it would be about 2 weeks and that the 30 day warranty was over so I be charged for them to look at it. It didn’t matter to them that it had only been used a week or two of the season.
It didn’t help that the woman was rude and tried to blame me for putting bad gas in it (same gas and storage I’ve used for years). My mower had no problems with it in the the spring.
Didn’t help that the woman on the phone was rude and condescending.
I will NEVER go there again.

I had my Toro snow blower picked up to have two pins replaced. I was told it was a simple job and probably about 15 minutes of labor. A week later I got the call that the job was done, and it would be $ 149. I asked about the cost, and was told their was a $ 69 delivery fee… which is fine, but I was never told that. When I mentioned to Linda, the woman on the phone, that I wasn’t told about the delivery charge she said «Yes, you were.» First of all, it wasn’t even her I spoke to initially so how could she know what I was or wasn’t told. And second, I am certain no one told me about the delivery charge. Linda was extremely rude and said «Listen lady, it’s New Years Eve and I want to go home». I told her she was very rude and asked to speak to her manager, and she hung up on me! I called back and the man I spoke to was equally rude. I will NEVER use them again, and wish that I had come here first to read all of the other reviews from unhappy customers. I’ve used Metrowest Small Engine Repair in the past, and was very happy with them. In all honesty, that’s who I thought I was calling. I couldn’t remember the name and googled it on my phone. Unfortunately Annesi’s name came up. I’ll make sure not to make that mistake again.

Despite the other reviews I had a good experience. I’ve bought parts for my old toro snow blower there for years. They always have the stuff in stock and don’t jack the price compared to online. The couple extra bucks paid is worth it when you are down and can’t wait 10 days for super saver shipping. The staff is friendly and helpful. When I had to buy a new toro for my daughter I had a miserable experience at Home Depot. More like self service. When it came time to replace my 25 yo Toro clunker, I gave Annesi’s a shot. They had it in stock for the same price as the big box stores. Filled the tank with gas for me and dropped it off in my driveway for free without me having to be there for a 4 hour window.

Absolutely awful. I bought a Toro lawnmower from them a year ago. While mowing my lawn it started smoking and burning oil.
Of course just like all the other reviews they immediately claimed that I «tipped over» the mower or «put too much oil» in it to cause the problem. It was almost like they had the standard two answers ready to go.
Guess what: I did neither of the two things. My wife went to pick up the mower which was supposed to be under warranty and they charged me $ 120 for a carb rebuild as well as a bunch of other things.
I will most likely be reversing the charges on my credit card, and writing a letter to Toro. Stay far away from this dealer.

If it were possible to give zero stars, we would. We had our snow blower repaired because it was leaking gas. Since the winter had no snow, we didn’t use the snow blower. This past weekend, when my partner went to move the snow blower, once again it was empty. He called Annesi’s to ask if they could look over the snow blower since the issue was not resolved. Their response was to tell him it was his fault and that they were too busy to be bothered. Thanks we will be looking elsewhere.

Still waiting for our tiller. They keep promising to put it at the head of the line but have not done so. We repeatedly have told them we need the tiller because my husband has a very large greenhouse and wants to plant lettuce now. It is a 30 by 14 foot space and doing it by hand is out of the question.
Going to find a different company.

They have been happy enough to pick up my lawn mower and prep it for the summer or repair it and charge quite a lot of $, But when I needed a mulching part for my John Deer they said they didn’t do business with the company.
How can they repair a machine but not do business with the company who manufactures them. Are they too lazy to provide good customer service? I have bought quite a lot of stuff from them, but no more.

they sell lawn mowers i guess, get an answering machine and post some hours, how you gonna get customers without these common courtesies?
